Micro box perhaps?!?

this was lying on the curb with a free sign on it, I gave it an official inspection. All the pieces where there and in working order so i took it home. My idea is to use it as a micro grow. I want to be as stealthy as possible. No light leaks, no odor, lots of random wires.

i am open to all ideas. I took a few pictures.

That would work great as a SOG box. you could fit prolly rows of 4-5(soda bottle sized pots). Idk how many rows cause you didnt post the width of the cab. looks little more then a foot. so 3 rows. arranging the CFL lights parallel with the top lined with mylar. If it was my box i would use the 42(true) watt cfls and would make the front of the box at the top to have the lip coming down a bit more then it already is. Just big enough to drill the light sockets into it. and have them lined up as close as possible along the front and back. to maximize the light per sqf.
you could have a separate veg box/pc box which isnt as expensive to set up cause you dont have to worry about smell/light proofing it fully. then you could rotate a row every 2-3ish weeks depending on strain.


thats just me thinking for maximum smoke at all times...

i would GUESS you could get AT LEAST a oz every 3ish weeks. thats a guess from everything Ive seen done in this micro grow forum.

this box would require sufficient odor control/air movement.

You'd probably have to move or remove the middle shelf, since 12" height is pretty tough to deal with, and since it's directly related to the height of the doors you'd be looking at a different front to the cab as well.

But yeah it's do-able, you just have to figure out how to have enough airflow to keep temps down in a small area while still keeping fan noise low enough to be considered stealth. If you figure that out, let me know too.. haha. I'd strongly suggest adding in plexiglass or reg glass heat shields for the lights ala anti's cab.

good job pointing out the doors and that shelf, didn't notice that. thats gonna make it a tad harder.

what about using this is a mother/clone grow? keep the mother plant trimmed with only the minimum amount of leaves and branches. Thus the smell will not be as bad. also the number of lights will be minimum thus temperature will be controlled with 3 PC fans.

Here is another option i was thinking about. There are light fixtures that mount to the ceiling and instead on the light being vertical they are horizontal

oh it would definitely work for that.. you can keep mother plants quite small and they don't need tons of light so the temperatures arent as much of an issue.

Why don't you turn it on its side so that you have more vertical space for growth....

Take them off and either get some plywood or some panda film and make a new door/front, I velcro my cab door on but it will leak light if It's not put on perfect.
