Timer messed up in veg

So I popped some SS AK47 and SWT #3 and they broke ground on June 12. They are about two weeks old from seed, apprx 4 nodes or so and about 3 inches tall (got em under a 4' x 4 bulb T5).

I had them on 18/6 and just noticed for the last two or three days my timer flipped to always on ... so basically they went from 18/6 to 24/0.

I decided to just keep them at 24/0 and finish the veg out at that so as not to confuse them.

Is that ok or you think I can go back to 18/6?? Ive read about this happening in flower and getting hermies but Im in veg so Im not sure I should be to concerned about it.

What do you think?

doesn't really matter...either way is ok for veg and switching from one to the other and back won't mess up anything....

Just recently i have done exactly what you are talking about, i even went 18 to 24 to 20 back to 18 lol

There was zero ill effects that i noticed and i keep a pretty good eye on things.. It wouldn't surprise me if some strains were more sensitive to others in regards to this but im pretty sure you'll be just fine mate. I was wondering the very same questions when i did it but very pleased to say 100% no problems. Its when the timer goes the other way and switches off before 18hours is up, then you try and go back into veg thats when you'll most likely have problems.

all the best
