busted nightmare

didnt really know where to put this

been making a living growing for about 4 or 5 years now. everything is super smooth, never had any incidents or close calls.

however, about once a month a have a crazy dream/nightmare where i get busted. usually involves me coming home to a house full of police, or them waking me up in my sleep. one time the dream even continued until i was in jail and calling my lawyer.

anyone else ever get this shit? ive never been one to be paranoid, so it sucks that it manifests itself in my dreams

I have had these kinds of dreams Hashcat. It is obviously our sub conscience coming to the forefront. Subconscious is a powerful thing.Better to come out in dreams than in reality..Keep the faith. Talking about it should take some of the power out of it..Kinda like releasing the pressure off a steamin radiator..peace

^good points all. definitely keeps you aware of whats going on and that im not just living in some fantasy land. also good that it happens in dreams and not reality.

lmao at sleepwalking and fucking up the garden...now THAT would suck

edit: i did get blackout drunk once and walked in to my room the next day with 2 or 3 plants knocked off the shelves

Might be a good thing if it keeps you aware of your security. Complacency might not come back to haunt but could in-theory make you more vulnerable.

If it's too intense for monthly occurrence, maybe a relaxing vacation (with little/no business to remotely monitor, check-in etc) would help. What's a week or two out of the annual production equation, less than 10%? Might be worth the price if it calms frayed nerves.

Yeah I always have dreams about cannabis..never getting caught per se but always situations which would really bug me out in real life!
Like the last one I remember for some reason I had male plants from my indoor grow sitting in my front yard.
Or the one before that when all the sudden my grow room had windows and light was shining through them when it was supposed to be dark.
At least I never get busted lol

My guess, not from experience i admit, is that after that amount of time even if you take all the precautions the sheer amount of sad stories about people getting busted starts playing tricks with your mind.
Keep it safe and make any necessary improvements on safety. If there´s no room for improvement just smoke a fattie and relax.

My guess, not from experience i admit, is that after that amount of time even if you take all the precautions the sheer amount of sad stories about people getting busted starts playing tricks with your mind.
Keep it safe and make any necessary improvements on safety. If there´s no room for improvement just smoke a fattie and relax.

Pretty confident it affects us all over time... no way it couldn't... constantly weighing on us... always there in the back of our minds... its a very real stressor... has to have implications to our psychology... just expresses itself uniquely for each person. Wishin us all a better nights sleep...

I get one of these dreams every 4 or 5 months. Makes me double check my plant count and everything else when I wake up, lol

i relocated. no more worries really. cali rules. lax mj laws and anyone can get a rec. i have considered getting one for my dog.

I remember reading about a grower who had an alarm system installed in his grow house that would go off if anybody entered the house. He had this alarm system set so if it went off it would call his cell phone. If that ever happened he would be able to check out the house from a distance and if it was the cops he was off to the nearest airport.

If I had a big grow going I'd definitely do something similar. Maybe if you had a system like this it would ease your worried mind a bit.
