jeez, what do you live on top of everest or something? must be pretty high up to be getting frost in frickin july!

the pit beast are looking sweet, sunshine sure is good for plants! go figure huh?
you may want to look into Progress Earth's product line, they have the Steiner preps available,i have been seriously impressed by the results from using them in our stores compost tea,i have no doubt my prudent use of them has helped restore some seriously assed out plants we got from someone who sold their house but had spent two months watering with water softener water so they were seriously burdened with salts and very very chlorotic and seriously stressed...most i had to un-pot and wash all the old medium off and re-pot them....sorry,bubble rambling...my point being,i bet the would regenerate and re=leaf that squash right quick, and give it enough additional vitality to resist any further frost much better..

I'll be totally straight with you unc.......I live life high. This micro climate is crazy. It has taught me....actually...never seems to stop teaching me its tricks. Deserts and mountains. Elevation is not extreme...but the lay out of the topography is where the hardships come from.

I grow a lot of plants....every year has seen me expand. It's a lot of work. For me...hands go up in the air in July. It's in the wind...tossed up (with good will) to what Mother Nature feels like letting me have. My season started back in February....wait...actually in November. I've had several rounds of harvests....my Garlic is already in...a couple rows of Carrots...a row of Swiss Chard...Fava Beans...Lettuces....etc etc.......

Here....indoor gardening is real easy. Outdoor gardening is the challenge. I've been kicked in the nuts by the elements so many Xs now...I'm almost unfazed.

* we had winds the other day...that if my canna plants had been in full flower and at ground level...they'd have been torn to pieces.

** I get tired of gardening...I walk away...but then I'm back at it

*** My key to success here: Keep planting...keep composting...lots of variety...and try to keep back up plants

i think one secret to good gardening is knowing how to ignore your plants properly....a certain amount of fussing over them is good, but knowing when to let nature take its course is important too...

about to put my first breeding efforts into flower, popped 10 beans, and not oddly got 5 females...think i can see the infusion of cindy99 father on them already, these are DG's LUI13 (Legends Ultimate Indica (ortega pheno) x G13 crossed to cindy99,the lui13 mom produced some huge tight frosty colas, pretty head thumping stuff, really pretty colored plant as it flushed, the full gamut of fall colors...but i like my sativas....thought the cindy mixed in would turn out well....we shall see...

I've said many Xs: I don't grow plants...I give them what they need to be successful....then I leave them the fuck alone.

Your cross sounds killer. I'll be running some C99 this fall...for blending purposes. C99 is good stuff. I was sick of Cindy...but gave her a break...and now want to grow her again.

the chemdog x c99 has been one of my fav smokes...its so good. excellent flav, devastating high, very racy then lends to a more relaxed space

that c99 seems to go well with everything

i agree,c99 does seem to go with everything, all of DG's c99 crosses were excellent, the cindy seems to bring nice hybrid vigor to them...my cindy male was a spew-a-tronic stud machine,he doused the 6 females with so much pollen even after several showers the plants were still caked in pollen, plus i still have 2 tablespoons of pollen in the freezer plus a wack of c99 seeds,i have 3 cuts of the mom going into flower tonight....frosty pineapple goodness...67 day c99 is some crazy potent stuff...

I have Afropips M99 going...a cross between Malawi Gold and C99. One Indica pheno is a male and will be my pollen donor for all kinds of trouble. Chaos is the mirror of freedom.

It's cool that so many have found success using C99 in projects. I went on a binge using Cindy in outcrosses....a few yrs ago. I like sweet tropical flavors a whole lot....not to mention fast flowering expressions with those tropics. I find C99 very up kind of high...which again...transfers over in outcrosses.

A valid argument could be made for C99 being one of the most influential hybrids of the indoor era?

* Thanks for the visits friends....always appreciate intelligent people stopping through. I was just telling my wife...that I could get along with everyone that drops in this thread (she never reads it herself)...and that the conversation is expanding.

Chaos...functioning in it...to find calm

CHACO and THE PABLOS, that would be a toking session that i wouldn´t mind to attend.
I might even write my address and phone number with perm marker on my skin beforehand...i´m afraid i could have some kind of whitey in such excelsior company ;)
That´s a cool shot bro, may many mornings be like that.

I would be Chilling in that pit too. Smoking the deez, thinking about the day.

The weather has been nuts. Storms poppin up outta no where. We had some 70mph gusts of wind that we're rockin the trees hard. Love your setup. Been reading this thread so long I have concocted my own vision of your compound. Your running trails etc

Fuck yeah dude. You are super smart.

I made it down to Ocean Beach today...body surfed some sloppy (few good ones though) Avalanche jetty waves for a couple hrs. Basically fucking off and stretching out my running legs...fun little waves...some shoulders...nice rip going...not crowded for a little while. I like cross training body surfing/running in the summer.

* That's the Fuck Show cross in the pit....blended Odessa, OG Jam, and Bubba G is the genetic make up. I'm thinking they are going to be marvelous.

** Summer flies....faster every year

*** I'm watering twice a day....about 2.5 gal each day per plant.

I s'creme you s'creme we all want some CBF S'creme

Hola bro, do believe theres stilla few peeps with the cut about. i dont keep it any longer as the screme seedline has enough of her in the line. havent done much with the straight screme seedline in sometime, since doin the strawberry dog,aka scremeNdawg.

spent quite a few years with the strawberry, quite a few outcrosses. ive moved on to other projects at this point and wont be doin much with the screme anymore.

currently workin the BlackToothGrin(PurpleIndica X SCreme BC1) like this one quite abit. also the OGJam, which currently has my interest. and the BigSurHolyWeed, which ill be doin some outcrosses with, fairly soon. just made some SMG X OG(SMOG) they will be the first ones to look at.

recently aquired a large grip of choice cuts once through them then maybe some there.

the OGJam(SFV X Ghost) X Ghost has been a great project in my opinion, the whole idea was to combine a bunch of the OGs around for a OG Kush seedline. have the Legend OG, TK, and Tahoe OG to add to the mix. also my own OG(OogleyGoogly). have already collected pollens from 4 OGJam males, and have 3 other males veggin to dust up the girls. once pollens are collected from the BTG(flowerin be done ina week or so) and the BSHW(4males) ill be makin a grip of OG. gonna be epic :D

hehe, was just gonna be a short response..............
