Good question. They probably didn't like what he posted, even if those weren't his/her words.

So, this quote really gets under my skin.
"Mark Kleiman, a professor of public policy at UCLA, said his advice to federal officials would be “to sit down with the governor of the state and say, 'Look, we can make your life completely miserable -- and we will - unless you figure out a way to avoid the exports.”"

Uh, Professor Kleiman, they're already doing that. And you're advocating for these sorts of tactics, eh?

Here's my proposal to Gov. Brown. IF the feds come in with strong-arm tactics like that, I say that all Californians STOP PAYING FEDERAL TAXES. Let's save our money for our state. I bet we've got at least a little bit of push with the money we feed into the federal coffers, and California, despite being hit so hard, is still one of the economic POWERHOUSES of the entire nation. Plus, we can feed ourselves quite easily enough, thank you very much.

Fuckass and your fucking strong-arm fuckwad fuckass tactics, motherfucker.

Thats what I am talkin bout, fuck yes, get down girl! Bullies arent bullies unless you say so, I never gave up my lunch money, ever, and ppl need to get that right, we do have power, look at all the energy being spent on all these seperate facts, and lies in this one issue, but to stand up, you dont say shit you just do it with body language, Just realize ppl that the fed is the biggest faker on the planet, they manipulate any situation if given the chance, they see to many of us distracted on false facts in the mj issue, to even put them in the equation, so they assume its fair game, but if for once a state, and its ppl said ok fuck heads lets get down then, stop paying, and depending, and good luck getting in and doing shit, when the LA riots proves you are to scared to do shit.

Girl you get my vote anyday, even more if you see Jerry brown kick him in the balls for having a second chance to do just this, but acting as blind to it as he looks, lol, either way nice post, and ppl need to wake up.

this Kleiman guy is not even a professor, but merely a propagandist, obviously. being on a higher academic level than he is, I can drop down the hammer of peer-reviewing freely :joint:

like many rightly realized, the name of the game is called black-market maintaining. those who maintain it, are obviously making a profit from it. therefore, anyone advocating for it, should be sent to prision for damaging society.

WASHINGTON -- Legalizing marijuana in even a single state could drive down prices dramatically across the country, encouraging more people to smoke the drug, a panel of experts said at a briefing Tuesday.

THANK GOD for 'panels of experts'! Otherwise I'd have no idea about right and wrong or supply and demand or risks vs. benefits.

'panel of experts' FTW!!!

Yup.

IMO, such actions are completely justified by ANY state government subject to federal thuggery. It is the DUTY of a state governor to enforce their state laws and protect their citizens, and having the federal government come in and destroy personal property and incarcerate citizens in compliance with state law is completely unacceptable.

Why should a citizen of any state pay state taxes if the state refuses to defend them against an out of control federal government? They shouldn't, imo. Nor should a state pay federal taxes when the feds fail to respect state law, which is the closest thing to the "law of the people" that we have.

While some would argue federal precedence over state law, common sense dictates that the manner in which these issues are resolved should be approached in a much more judicious manner than they currently are today, and should exclude destruction of property and incarceration. After all, the federal government is supposed to represent the will of the people, not SUPPRESS the will of the people, and bureaucracy takes time to overcome.

State leadership should actively resist federal repression of their citizens, and so should the citizens. IMO, medical states should form a bloc of solidarity to resist federal encroachment at both state and federal levels. One "rambunctious" state is not much of a match against federal encroachment, however, 17 states certainly are, and more will follow.

All it takes is somebody with balls to actually be a fucking leader for a change, instead of a g'damn politician.

Fat chance that...
