Yup. Smelled like a Christmas tree. Really brings back some clouded memories.
i have some pine tar kush seeds,its a pakistani landrace based strain that is supposed to smell like pine...i will let you know in a few months,i have an older pack i need to pop...
its my friday night! wooooo! still have three more rooms to water and feed and such..after that im free until tomorrow morning at least,i may even get spicy and stay up until midnight!

No. Was back in the mid to late 70"s. Guess once it got out of Canada the name got a bit creative and changed to Christmas Tree Bud. Smelled just like one too.
Construction is still on going. Just got it on hold for about a week.

It's Not Piney Bud, but people have said my Chemdog double d smells like very strong pine... of course with layers and layers of other aromas and flavors when mature. Picked early it coats your mouth in a pinesol type after taste.

I was just meaning that there are PINE individuals in the Chem X SD lines especially when harvested early; so for your friend that Piney tasting, face numbing, lung expanding, drool inducing, instant perma grin stuff is still around... if that exemplifies what your friend meant by piney bud.
