I was FirstTimer over on OG. I think I signed up around 2000 or 2001. Learned a lot and am glad to see some familar faces here.

Same name as now and I found Overgrow by doing a strain search when it was only a few months old. Lot's of great info on that site and had plenty of time to pack bowls while waiting on the Sega Dreamcast to show pics. Wasted half my youth on loading time.Steve from SOL, Bogg and Soma helped me threw online weed collage. Anyone ever know if Greenshammon is still around?

og refugee checking in. cant believe how many years have passed. time waits for no one. still think it was the best forum. best collection of vibes for sure.

.. I was also Marcellas on OG, registered sometime in 2000 or '01 with hardly any growing knowledge.. With help from BOG and other big namers and regular members on OG, I became very knowledgeable very quickly, and was always interested in cultivating our amazing greenery!!
BOG sent me a few sample nugs of his homegrown BLUE MOON ROCKS, posted a smoke report on OG (probably around '05), and I'm pretty sure BOG has a link to that report here on IC but the pics are lost forever.
..... To this day, that BMR that BOG grew himself and I was lucky enough to have/smoke, is STILL the BEST POT I HAVE EVER SMOKED!!! And I have smoked a LOTT of pot!!
I also BEGAN the FPC on OG before it migrated over here to IC!! Looking back on it, the "Fresh Prince Crew" got out of hand at times and was kind of a dumb idea (never thought I'd have 1000s of online followers or whatever) I thought at first, but we all had some good times!! And I STILL love watching the Fresh Prince, whenever I see it on regular cable!!
EDIT: ..........................OH, I'm pretty sure I had the dog "Spunky" from the TV show Rocko's Modern Life as my avatar, for a few years back on OG hahaha.. Maybe that could help some old OG'ers remember me???!

OH MY GOD I remember that thread!!!! That grow inspired my VERY 1st grow ever, and I did it in pretty much the same manner with good results!!
I remember, the kid was living in the dorms at his college, a university where most of the students didn't even smoke on occasion (uncommon for college kids these days).. So he was probably broke, being in college, and had to be SUPER stealthy to hide from his school AND other students..
........... He had 1 low-wattage fluorescent tube leaned vertically against the corner of a wall and grew one great plant, and pulled it off with some super potent looking nugs!! The reason why this thread got so much attention is because of how amazing it was how he pulled off such a great grow pretty much for FREE, and grew amazing looking buds with such a low wattage of flouros and low supplies, and kept it hidden in his DORM Room.. :eeek:
I remember the title of the thread was something like "Dorm-room Stealth Grow for $18.36?" hahaha
^^^That thread opened my mind to the possibilities of growing marijuana (I also had to be stealthy at the time and was extremely broke), and inspired my 1st ever grow!!
....Oh and 1 more thing, I had around 1500 posts on OG, a few grow reports, a few smoke reports (the 1 from BOG himself!!), and a decent gallery. I was a huge BOG follower.

i hated when all the ogers flooded this site. i was one of many who deleted there account do to the brain dead kids. then old pink made us be nice. now we are all united in the big picture to grow good herb. welcome

Babylon By The Bus was one I remember and I of course was Mr Wags and started with Flameproof do to the ill treatment of newbies.
Og in it's day was a fine place with great members BUT as all things must come to an end to me it was the addition of the Shark Tank that set the tone for it's demise.
I mean seriously we have newbies here all the time and they in no way shape or form do or say half the shit they did there and IMHO I think is why this shall always be a great place to hang with a bunch of old potheads who know how to grow some good ole homegrown.
