Is Your Cellphone Under Surveillance?

That is the title to this article. I don't usally post news up on ICMAG since most people here browse the internet headlines themselves, but this one I think is important to our community. Recently I had to call 911 and report a drunk driver that was going to kill himself or others if not stopped. The 911 operator pinpointed my location very fast via triangulation since I couldn't give a cross road or intersection soon enough. This isn't about their ability to triangulate, it is even scarier.

Take your phone with you to he grow house? To the gorilla grow? I wouldn't anymore after reading this. Normally I am not to worried about this type of thing but I think it is time to take measures against this. How about having someone over to sell them a bag and they leave get pulled over, don't narq, but the po-po can use this to findout their last where abouts.

I am about to say fuck cell phones myself.

I think phones ( cell phones ) have caused way more harm then good.. but maybe I'm sure people who saw house phones said the same thing?

Nothing new really. But it is quite disturbing when you think about it. The only solution would be don't take your phone with you when you are going to sensitive locations and use code when you talk/text on the phone about sensitive information.

Couldn't you just keep the phone on Airplane Mode until you're in a safe situation & then turn off AP mode & talk on your phone using prudent language?

I don't know if a cellphone is trackable while on AP mode.

why do you think all those with Bin Laden would remove the battery out of any electronics with them, at least 10 -15 miles from any location. US is just distributing this technology to lower branches of government.

I was kinda wondering this stuff about my iPad. The batteries are not accessible so it's always open to be hacked. I shut the power off and Pandora keeps playing. WHAT? I go back in and pause Pandora and shut off the power. Next time I turn it on there is a pop-up from Pandora asking me if I'm still listening (10 hours later....what?) The popup also says they have to pay for each song....good to know but why should I care? While I'm talking about Pandora, they have advertizing and voice commercials on the iPad, but over the Roku and through my TV there are absolutely none. So which way do you think I use? I think Pandora is doing sort of what Netflix did, get the customers then change their service. But Netflix almost folded because of that, idiots! The iPad also keeps downloading after I shut the power button off. Done that repeatedly. But content specific I think, like apps for instance. While I rant about this stuff, all laptops now come with built in microphones and cameras? I just disable them then enable when I want to use them. It makes you wonder who is the customer being served here and who is this stuff actually for? Anyway, listening to and turning on cellphones, they could do that 5-6 years ago. Triangulation? Child's play. Very widespread. I'm sure they can get to your hard-drive on your computer now, on or off, but they still need power. This is not widespread yet, but coming to a Walmart near you soon. You might want to take the batteries out of your computers too, unless you need it. Just give me my tinfoil hat now, but this stuff happens.

man, this is nothing. HAve you ever heard of RNM, remote neural monitoring? Every human has their own specific bioelectric field...with satellites they can locate and home in on a specific person's bioelectric field...then access THEIR BRAIN. I shit you not. They can insert images/thoughts, and also use what's called "skull to brain" transmissions...basically a 2-way radio for the 21st century. The perfect communication for the clandestine service, no microphone, no wire.
NSA developed this back in the 70's, and now organized crime as well as foreign intelligence services have this. It's very scary.
