How bad is real bad? Are you all webbed up? More details please.
at this point there isnt much you can do except use a vacumm cleaner to try and remove as many as possible...please dont spray with any pesticides it will only poison your herb...you can also spray plain water on them to slow them down but that will risk bud rot...
for now you gotta plan for next time....revolving baths of floramite, azamax, avid during veg and up to first week of flower and clean your dirty grow room...

You can also tie a string to each top nugget on your plant and then tack them up to the ceiling. Use something sticky like tanglefoot to coat the top few feet of the string. The sidermites instinctually keep going up and will get caught in the sticky. This wont get rid of all your mites but it will help slow them down.

The tips you got already are good, I have vacummed a few nugs myself. The string thing is new that is pretty cool. You won't elminate them at this point, but you can try to put a hurting on their numbers. You could buy some ladybugs amd some predator mites let them snack on whatever they can, also a new bug called destroyers but they are expensive a shit. Apparently they love cillantro, so you can put some cillantro in the room and once they have migrated throw them out and add another fresh cillantro. If you are going to spray you might as well use the new mighty wash I am pretty sure it is harmless in flower except for bud rot potiential, make sure you lookinto it.
A little late now but preventitive is always best, I would reccomend a good cleaning as well and some powerful pesticide in between rounds. For preventive I love lady bugs, not a sinlge bug sighted in my rooms but I have 4500 or w/er is left of them working away in my rooms.

EEK. I hate spidermites. I only really see them in the summer months, so rare in the winter (dry, cold, high altitude rocky mountain climate). They grow and take over fast!
I have used Dr. Doom in the past (doktor doom?). It is effective. It must be used more than just once. They lay eggs and they hatch quite often, I'm no scientist so I won't comment on how often. I do know that if I did 4 treatments 3 days or so apart at signs of a mild infestation (light webbing or less) it would really curb it or end it depending on the time of year. I was told by hear say that the residual effects are only about 3 days long etc. but I have my doubts.
Now.... I have found that I can keep them kind of at bay if late in flower with ice ice cold water. It only distracts them, they do not go away. I fill my pump sprayer with ph'd water (not sure if this is needed but its a habit) and ICE. Let it get cold, stick it in the fridge. Let it get cold cold cold, then hose them bastards down hard. I haven't seen much difference between my hosed summer buds or my mite free winter buds to be honest, but I'm no expert. I live in a very low humidity area and I have never ever experienced bud rot so things may be different for your geographic location. Take that into consideration please....
I am about 50 days in, spotted webs at about 40 days or so. Been giving them the cold water treatment daily immediately after lights out. I'm lucky to see one string a day as far as webbing goes.
I liked Doktor Doom as far as killing them goes but I do worry about that stuff going down both my patient's and my throat so I don't go that route anymore personally. I did a mix of floramite/Neem/dawn dishsoap on the flip flop side of the identical room 3 times, 3 days apart before I put the ladies into bloom which are now at about day 20 and no signs of mites so far. I'm still getting a grip on the whole growing thing as it's only been 2 years.
I hope this helps you. There are a lot of methods but these have worked for me. I'd rather smoke a few dead mites than some chemical pesticides myself but I have no scientific data to prove my paranoia lol

I have never tried this but there is no better time. I have noticed that if I trim and hang them upside down I get to have my revenge on the mites. I can't wait til winter! I miss my mite-less purple nugs lol

Put a fan blowing strongly on the plant, and the mites will migrate to the 'stable' plant from the 'unstable' plant. He then takes a paper towel soaked in Forbid (ugh! Mom thinks he can use isopropyl alcohol to the same effect) and wipes them off the bamboo.
I would suggest using a spray of 50:50 isopropyl:water (91% iso) every three days. The iso evaporates fairly quickly, but also dries out their little evil bodies.
I'm kidding about them being evil, they're just livin' a spider mite kinda life.

some people take the plants and dunk them to wash them off.
i recently had a spider mite issue and i used hotshot no pest strips. left in cabinets 48 hours lights -fan off, then a few more days with normal procedure. took them out on day 5 or 6. no mites. although not organic, but spider mites are the borg to weed.

Order some Sea-90 sea-minerals, I use it for a multitude of things...and an insecticide happens to be one of em! I just got a Grand Daddy Purps clone from a buddy, it was riddled with mites till I hit it with a spray bottle after adding 1tsp per gallon. A couple hours after spraying the mites I picked off disintegrated in my fingers like a blasted em with an alien deathray...I officially will no longer grow without it!

I've read quite a lot about Sea-90 minerals, not as an insecticide but what the heck? I'm likely to purchase for the market garden, so I can nick a wee bit to use on my cannabis, too.
