here is clone from her i grew it in a bush w my 150w and i still got some fairley nice sized colas once again.i really dont think she is purple kush thou... who knows?
my favourite would be Serious Seeds - White Russian.
I don't like their Chronic because an average grower would not get the same out if it as form the WR. Imho WR is far more resistant against als kinds of error sources. (feeding, watering, heatstress, pests). I have have grown both under some worst case conditions, during my first season. the Chronic lost in all disciplines, yield, chunkyness, RESIN, POTENCY, TASTE. Though it was the better daytime smoke haha.
The reason why, imho is that Chronic needs 10 weeks to produce a decent outcome if conditions are NOT optimal, which can be asumed from an unexperienced grower. both times i had to chop between week 8 and 9, or lets say I did because of what the salesman told me. The outcome were fluffy, hairy and tasteless buds.
White Russian however by comparison killed it. there was no rbig difference in the overall yiel because they have smaller headcolas than Cronic and stay shorter in hight. but their growthpattern makes an even canopy of side shoots. Each shoot giving a chunky nugg in the end, loaded with crystals.
this February i restarted growing and bought some WR and Sensi Star clones for a quick bud.
Somehow I catched root aphids and all hell broke loose. After 3 weeks of flowering the infestation and its impact was so bad, that everybody I asked for help adviced me to cut down and buy new clones. I decided to keep on tough.
Day 53:
After 61 days i cut down the first batch (5 of 24) , mostly Sensi Stars. Same picture, fluffy, hairy babybuds. the WR from this batch also wasn't satisfying, though. I haven't even scaled it all because i smoked everything in the last 2 days. On day 62 I cut the second batch (7 of 24) 3 Sensi Star, 3 WR, 1 Double Dutch.
this time i noted those weights.
3,5L coco the top 3 so far:
Sensi Star (62d): 15g, 11g, 10g = 36g
White Russian (62d): 18g, 14g, 11g = 43g
So this is the 3rd time i experience that WR has what makes a real bread and butter strain, resiliance. Since this cut is more sativa dominant you can give it 10 weeks in such a nightmare scenario. It swells up a lot more than the other strains in this run, i left 6 of them to go for 10 weeks and compare if its worth the time in yield. in quality it is for sure.
All experience made with the Strains I mentioned, was just with purchased European cuts alone. though some of them are over 20 years old e.g. White Russian. So are really close to, if aren't "the real deal"
PS: If flowering times over 10 weeks are not an issue then try Killing Fields or ******s Super Jack which by far has one of the biggest maincolas you will ever come across. speaking from ******s growreports, I have never grown them so far myself.
