yeah we used something similar to that on the end of a power drill. It was too hard to control quality though, however the yields were great. Thanks for sharing!!

Get a machine, it will pay for the bill in the first use, they increase quality and quantity. They also save alot of hard work and time. A good self powered bubble hash machine is one purchase you will never regret...

I'm confused, how would you use the portable washing machines you posted links to exactly? Do you need to buy extra bags, etc?

i use one of them, keep breaking the buckets with it though but it does work really well.

Would want to use machine to see the difference before I spend the cash as they are not cheap

I now use a counter top washing machine made in China, but I have used a mud mixer in an electric drill very successfully. It has to be done at slow speed or it will break up the plant material too much however.

Even with a varispeed drill, I found it easier to keep the bath in the bucket and off my feet if I punched a small hole in the lid and threaded the mixer shaft through it before inserting it in the drill.

Here is a 130 micron filter bucket, made out of $6.50 sq/ft. stainless mesh pop riveted to the bottom and the bucket shortened to nest in another 5 gallon bucket to drain.

Id discovered that every expensive hash machine is nothing but a cheap Chinese apartment or RV washer with a sticker on it. ALL OF THEM are washing machines!

Bubbler machine = $134.95
Mini washer on ebay, $67 delivered.

those other machines probably don't come with excellent customer service, especially after they figure out you were tryin to separate trichs with it lol...

and as has been stated, using that drywall mud mixing attachment will turn your hash green and ruin what could have been melty goodness.

i understand people trying to save a buck or two especially in these times, but somethings are worth spending money on.
