Return to Mota Island

Some of you might remember the "Mota Island" thread I had up back in the day where I posted pictures from the garden. Thought I might try that again.

For fun I crossed the pre '98 Bubba with a chocolate trip X deep chunk male. Grew out one female this run and she looks good but is über leafy like you would expect. Has that bubba earthiness.

Here is the Cin X cut. She has been around Oregon for a while but I haven't seen much about her online. C99 crossed with a kush, I've heard hindu or OG. Very sour smelling, almost some vomit smells but also with some tropical fruit. A real stinker for sure. Doesn't really have any of the cindy sativa high it's more of a sledgehammer, puts you down.

I ran a table of OG kush "fire" this round to see how she did in hydro vs coco. Stretched like a mofo.

I've got some more plants from seed plus a couple of other cuts still going, will post some more when they're done.

The bubba chocochunk cross turned out to be pretty tasty with good potency. Lost the top to bud rot but the rest of the plant was golf ball nugs.

Chopping the rest this weekend. Glad that it's stayed nice and cool here, the heater in the grow room is still kicking on during the dark cycle.

Grew three different females from seed of killer apollo (killer queen X apollo 11) f2s I made. Smaller plants, fruity/pineapple scent with awesome resin coverage.

I also ran five different females of orange apollo f2s. Big fat colas with an intense orange smell. Took them at 70 days but a couple of them could have gone longer.

My first time running this cut, was told it's purple haze. The cat I got it from brought it down from Bellingham. Unusual smell, sort of spicy mint might be the way to describe it. Didn't form much in the way of buds just leaf and little foxtails.

Respect - Thanks, she was knocked up by an orange apollo male.

Gerard - Here's the funny thing, she only went 10 weeks which is shorter than any other haze I've grown before. Didn't branch or stretch much either. So I question the heritage, although the buds do seem hazey so I'm not sure.
