many differences..gdp yelds more but is not as good as urkle.gdp seems to be an urkle x big bud cross.the taste is similar btw
So far nobody knows what the linage is of GDP. Many say Urkle is not in GDP(ken Estates)...Im sure Subcool's Urkle x Space Queen = Querkle has nothing to do with GDP. I have grown DP its not even close to Querkle. Its a great strain but completely different.
Purple Urkle X Purple Querkle Male = Deep Purple..This was a attempt to Isolate the Urkel Genetics imo it did not do that. I get Phenos in Querkle that are much more Urkle Dominate then I did with DP.. I HAVE 1 pheno that is Purple and 1 that is not but just as good. The Purple pheno is a low yielding girl the green pheno is a med yield. Both smell the same.

Deep Purple is a great strain. I bought 2 packs of DP grew it enjoyed it. I then bought 4 packs of Querkle grew it enjoyed it more then DP.. Your not going to dislike DP.

I have only tried DP and Querkle. I still have another pack DP.. Im going to try Chernobyl or Jack The Ripper next

Jack the Ripper fucking rocks, dude, you won't be disappointed. Look for the shorter pheno with tighter nodes. Fucking resin turns pink and the bitch smells like lemon pine sol.

Nice querkle, btw. I'm a big fan of TGA and it's nice to see that some ICmaggers are showing their gear some love finally. The Flav is badass too, though it's not the most stable line.
Ok this girl is harvested. She is a very low Yield.. Looks like a Urkle Dom Pheno...
Here is the green Pheno. Just lovly im drooling. This is after a 3 week flush.. She would not turn yellow. I find that Purple Phenos dont yellow very easy. Yield 2x the Purple Pheno

awesome work hammer! do you think this strain would yeld decent with longer vegetative growth? a friend has one of it outdoor and was wondering about the yeld..well it's very slow to veg and it has similarly leaves of your purple pheno! ah another thing..has it the skunky grape candy smell of GDP or is it more sweet?
Yes a long veg will help the yield. Also being outdoor will do that to..

tga's gear is nice smoke... candied flavors in all his strains it seems... my querkle had a very grapey nose, and my agent orange REEKS one wk into flower like a lime/orange skunk

my pre 98 bubba stays green/purp/rainbow as well - i do DWC and the plants bubble in 100ppm or less H20 for the last 12-14 days and while the rest of my room ( tahoe, 4 horseman, the grouch and other OGs turn lovely fall colors - not the kushes
that looks like a strain i grew called lavistan ( lavender X affie ), ill see if i can find an old pic or two
