no knock warrants are absolute bullshit in most cases. they look great on shows like Cops though

denver police have used them and got the address wrong a couple times in the last few years( on one i think they had a denver bronco player along for the ride while they shot the wrong guy), but they still issue the damn things. IMHO it will keep happening until they shoot some congressman's kid by accident ...... at that point the "ooops shit happens" excuse will have it's wings clipped and it will stop

This may work in favor of weed reform. If cops are scared to serve manufacturing warrants they might curb anti-reform lobbying.

IMO, it's a crazy solution to a bad problem that still needs a fix. These types of solutions tend to make more problems, not less. The NRA is off it's rocker.

You just have to love people who think that their circumstances are applicable to everyone. A quick search shows that there are roughly 1160 people per square mile in England. In the county that I live in, there are 7.5 people per square mile. The response time here for a Deputy Sheriff can be well in excess of 2 hours, which is about a half of what it is in some of the even more rural portions of the state. I frequently have bears and myriad other wildlife wandering through my yard, rabies is not rare, and right now there is an outbreak of distemper in foxes.

The homicide rate here is approximately 4 times that of England and Wales combined for the last several years. Bear in mind that with our population rate, that means an average yearly homicide incidence of 2.

It's kind of hard to have any gun crime when there are none...but we can still defend our families and property in the US...in a country with 350 million people, the number of gun crimes over a ten year period is miniscule...with guns! but you are right - you can't fix dumbass and most are not qualified to fix crazy.
