HELP....triangle kush? INFO?

Your a decade late and a dollar short.. Overgrow.c** was the catalyst that allowed the masses in FL to achieve the TK.. It was a cross between three major kush producing cities in FL, clones were held more than tightly between local surfers and local online-connoisseurs (sp?)
mainly mid-age/older smokers who just enjoy life, who aren't in the game to bank off selling beans or cuts illegally.. (since they are in FL)

That's really all I've gathered about her, some cuts were rumored to have been passed around to the west coast and CO.. again though, no one will admit they have her... she is to precious to lose!

The reason no one can take credit for possibly the best cannabis cut in the world is because multiple people were responsible for her and they know better than to spoil a good thing.... However now select few can still successfully keep her smell under wraps..

Think about it, if you had the BEST/ Tastiest nug you have ever tried and you have the option to continue growing her would you tell anyone? Loose lips sink ships, and if your aboard the TK ship...

YOU TELL NO ONE...:tiphat:

Not to mention people would literally give and arm and a leg for a bag of it... No exaggeration... locals who cant get it now around here talk about her like smoking it was the highlight of their life...

Yeah the horseshit lies in the fact that the TK, like the White -both supposed 3way hybrids- uhm, breed like inbred lines.

A few nights ago some guy came raging through here saying that the white was a "S1 inbred for 3 gens" not some 3way. And as incomplete as that was, it fully jibes with the way the plant actually breeds, and makes much more sense than a three-way acting in such a homozygous manner. It's these pesky lil facts that fully escape these oh so sure of themselves story tellers before they go off on their rolls.

coming for a part of the world where we really don't have the culture of hoarding/elites reading these threads about these almost mythic cuts is fun (or maybe there is but i'm just not aware of the secret brotherhood :D you never know).

don't get me wrong, sure there is reason for praise and all the folklore that comes with it.

enough rambling..most folks seem to say it originates from florida and there the trail ends..quess well never know the truth in public forum but that dna-testing will reveal something about the origins.

To add fuel to the fire, I've heard that the TK cuts passed out in CO are in fact a Pure Kush S1. That's coming from the person that passed in out. Round and round the wheel goes!

Let's entertain that for a minute since it was recently brought up elsewhere too. We will know soon enough I assure you. But in the meantime, what if I was to tell you that the PK is actually a TK S2, and not only is it a much better example than the parent plant but also breeds better after all the selfing.... Now, let's all put our hard-ons away for a second, which plant would you like, because I have both, if they are in fact different. This is the problem with these pink panther wannabe's, they have no clue what is actually important, and I mean zero clue. -T

Down the rabbit hole we go! Nothing surprises me with OGs anymore, Tom. Until there's full genome mapping of cuts done along with legit reference strains it's all conjecture imho. In my book, the best OG is the one you're lucky enough to have and spend the most time dialing in. Now actually choosing breeding stock is a whole 'nother horse.

i grow what i know as the triangle from Florida, which is a large cola, long flowering OG plant - not the triangle kush which i understand to be the 3 way hybrid people get confused with...also i have grown the mendo pure kush for years along side with my pre 98 bubba and kens GDP and i assure you that the REAP PK is a Real kush not a sativa dom. OG like the triangle is.... my PK looks mush more like the bubba and other kushs i have

it is clear to me that pure kush is not a triangle s-anything.

TOM - what PK do you have - a sativa dom. PURE KUSH is an conundrum !!! OG's are not KUSH just named that

"dialing in" is a phrase used to denote finding an environment in which an individual thrives. Some of these cuts have a very narrow environmental niche, some a broader one. There are OG's that come with training wheels (SFV etc), and some that are more difficult (Tahoe etc). Then there are ones that are the best of all compromises - the TK etc.

When I think of growing indoors Flordia is the last place I think of. No basements and ac 24 7 sounds like hell for a grower. Then add in it is ful of old folks who are republicans and now I'd be scared for my plants and my safety

The few the ballsy the Flordia grower

Tom hill,

I can't wait till you make dudes look stupid.... The phenotypical selections of these glorified pollen chuckers must crack you up as much as me.

Hope you have mercy.

Florida is great to grow in. Big houses with 200 amp panels and a 5 ton ac unit. One season outside year-round. So ya dial in your room, and its dialed for the year (unlike dealing with seasons/winter). And Heat+Humidity=Rainforest Effect=Big Yields.

TK, take it or leave it. By no means is it "the greatest marijuana plant ever". Just another decent clone that people pass or hoard. You could find one just as good tomorrow in some seeds, if ya looked hard enough.

But if it's a three way hybrid consisting of 3 heavily inbred and very related kush strains wouldn't that make sense?

I have grown the Tahoe OG Kush(from seed tho, CSG) and it tastes great, it gets me high, but I just don't see how these flavours and the name makes it sooo much more valued than the basic afghan/hindu kush/ crosses thereof..
