A study of the development of 59 Jamaican children was conducted with the children being monitored from childbirth to age 5 years. One-half of the sample's mothers used marijuana during pregnancy; they were paired with non-using mothers who matched age, parity, and socioeconomic status. Testing was done at 1, 3, and 30 days of age with the Brazelton Neonatal Behavioral Assessment Scales, and at ages 4 and 5 years with the McCarthy Scales of Children's Abilities test. Data was also collected from the child's home environment and temperament, as well as standardized tests. The results over the entire research period showed no significant differences in development testing outcomes between using and non-using mothers. ^^^^^ Not a valid study! No way to isolate the variables, no double blind to eliminate prejudice in the researchers, sample size WWWwwwaaaaayyyyy to small to indicate anything casual, let alone correlate which again would show nothing.
Just because 30 sets of tires wear out on 30 out of 59 cars in Colorado doesn't prove tires are bad for cars...... that is how stupid that anecdotal, pseudo-study truly is..... This kind of crap passing as science is why the ignorant bastards took those kids away.

Well my mother medicated with (cannabis) while she was pregnant with me, she also smoked a joint right by me when I was born. I don't think there's anything wrong with a mother getting her pains and cramps away with well grown cannabis it's just natural IMO if you aren't hurting anyone around you or yourself then you are free to do what you want.

The study is just a small indicator but I'm sure they were not expecting the results which is the point .. The ADD and ADHD part is very questionable in the study. I believe it was a double blind so not to worry about that.
Do I think the test might have been tested by ppl that had bias? YES absolutely...

Yeah I find it interesting you say this.. I have been traveling and they don't put any of that shit in their cattle or milk around the world only in our country why is that? Marinol is a synthetic chemical. Not only that, it doesn't have ANY of the additional cannabinoids found in cannabis that are medicinal and regulatory of the THC (or fake thc in this case).
I would feel more comfortable having a mother breastfeed on Marinol than Soma.... but I'd much rather she were using quality cannabis, most likely a sativa dom.
My kid wouldn't even be here without cannabis. I'll stack her up against the next 100 kids any day. Hell, make it 1000.
