haha you can just smell the lawsuit coming...

walmart is one of my least favorite places in the world....the walmarts in oakland/san leandro are the worst, just absolutely patheticly staffed and managed, and the customers are terrible too..

but where else can you get vacseal bags, a burner phone, dog food, and a money order all in one place????

hep c, an inflated sense of self worth...

"Craig was treated with six bags of anti-venom after his hand swelled to the size of a melon and says he still hasn’t regained feeling in two of his fingers."

Damn that's fucked! I hope Wallworld decides to make right by this guy if he loses some fingers or something

They won't. Remember Wall-Mart corp. fired a multiple employee of the month who had inoperable sinus cancer, in a legal medical state, after he showed dirty in a UA from a simple store accident.

I sure do hope this guy gets paid. I buy very little at WallyWorld because I can not find any Made in America products.

Walmart apologized for the incident and planned a sweep of the store using a pest management team to ensure the snake acted alone....
This is hilarious.

The only thing that would've made it funnier would be if they said: "Authorities believe the snake was working with one or more accomplices and are following up leads..."

Ya the first thing everyone is always thinking lawsuit and its walmart what a perfect store to have this done at.. That guy wont have to work for the rest of his life if you plays his cards right.. The store put his life in jeopardy intentional or not he will get paid. Its sucks though that you need a lawyer to do it. If its cut and dry fuck the Lawyer. You can put a price on it. You can always get a lawyer later.

Just say I need 1Mil to be OK.. They say no you say OK see ya in Court

A part of me wonders if this guy set the whole thing up. How did the snake even get there? And why is he "mulching" "marijuana" plants and why in the hell did he even say that at all anyway? Rattlers have distinct markings. I've never seen one that I thought was a stick. Other snakes maybe, rattlers no. Don't rattlers usually rattle when they feel threatened? I hate Wallyworld but it does make you wonder.

THIS IS WHY MARIJUANA SHOULD BE KEPT ILLEGAL!!!!!
IF HE HADNT BEEN LOOKING FOR MULCH THIS SHIT WOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED

i guess the moral is, it's better to be bit by a rattler in a Walmart than in a W. Va. church.

That snake didn't travel in to the store with a load of mulch. Mulch comes 50 bags to a pallet and shrink wrapped. Clarkston has plenty of rattlers on their own. That snake came in from the surrounding area. The grower should have been aware what rattle snakes look like. I have never mistaken a snake for a branch. For those who wonder where in the hell is Clarkston, its in the very NW corner of the state at the confluence of the Snake river and the Clearwater river. All this trivia should satisfy any and all readers.

I was a little surprised the rattler didn't rattle before being touched. Rattlers are typically scared enough to warn potential predators before striking. Was also surprised the victim "danced" it to death. Sounds like the snake might have been on his last leg.

I'm familiar with eastern diamondbacks, copperheads and cottonmouths. I don't like any of em but the rattler is less likely to go out of his way to strike.

I agree, unless this was one of those rattlers from that area of Texas where the rattling ones have been being selected out. And that was what surprised me about the Mojave green that bit me--it gave NO indication it was unhappy. Usually, yes, they rattle, and if you have them by the tail you can feel it. It's like someone is flicking your finger. But this little guy? Completely relaxed and calm.

I was told by the nurses at the hospital that they're so aggressive they chase people. I was incredulous, kinda still am.

Saw a GORGEOUS king snake, squished by the side of the road a few days ago. I would have so gotten that snake and saved it, if I could have. :(

Yeah, I'd be reluctant to gamble with any poisonous snake.

Some guys at work stopped filling orders because a blacksnake was in the warehouse. I got a piece of conduit and a skid strap and made a noose, caught the snake and released it outside. Damn thing went straight for the 4-lane. So much for benevolence.
