400w 2nd coco grow

Welcome to my second grow everyone, which shall be full of plenty of firsts. This will be my first summer grow so heat is the concern. This will be my first time using a quality inline fan and carbon filter, so a little bit of an upgrade here. Still seems like i need to do something else about heat since its over 90 in there anyways. Ambient is 80 thats with an ac in my window. Might need another. The lineup is Jilly Bean, Bubba Kush, Shot Adrenaline, and 2 of the leftover Top Skunk from the winter grow.

the bubba kush is feminized, the shot adrenaline is feminized, the jilly bean is reg, and the 2 TS44 are reg. i had a Violator kush fem that didnt pop, almost $20 for that 1 seed, and another jilly bean that didnt come up. really would like that one to be fem b/c i've heard great stuff about it, very uplifting and positive energy. i'll pray to the old gods and the new.....

goodluck bro i'm looking foward to seeing this grow. on the issue of heat are you running your day cycle at night? i started doing this because where i am it can get to 110 in the hottest days of summer though since i started running at night my portable a/c rarely ever kicks on....just a thought with all do respect of course if you already knew this i hope i'm not insulting. idk your skill level....Happy Growing!!!

thanks friend, yeah all council is welcome here man. this is my sophmoric venture, first summer grow tho. i've been on 24 for veg, just like last winter, but i've been giving them a little mist every couple hours on the hot days. i've got a fan speed controller at medium speed as it gets to be a bit noisy. i'm looking at mufflers now because it would be nice if i could actually frikin zip the thing up. flower will definately have night light. i figured its may i should be able to veg 24 since may is supposed to average 70-75f. but since everythings warming up i'll probably be seeing palm trees in new england soon. only prob 1 more week of veg. welcome chop

looking good buddy. why didn't you fill coco till all the way up of the cup?, cup is blocking air-flow, i'd cut it and put a fan on them and i won't mist them either. same GH nutrients right?, I still have that yellow ph meter lol. i hear ya was in chat room today, i couldve got home early but decided to play diablo3 with friends hehe I'll prolly see ya in chat tomm, have a good day man.

thanks weedss, yeah i used friendly fribble cups, the clear tops made for perfect humidity domes. i was just trying to get all those done with 1 brick. theyve outgrew it now its not a prob theyre happy, and the fans right on top of em. what were you doing in the woods there, u going gorrila? how many cfls you end up using with that sensi star? and where's the grow log for it? tell me what i missed man c'mon

ahh the picture in my album, i was gonna do OD this summer but ended up finding no good spot, too much wind, frequently changing weather etc so here i am again. last-grow bro under 200w cfls. this time i am aiming for 4oz, 4plant been learning alot basic on coco etc..
i only kept one pic of my sensi star, big nug. i'll upload it in my album tonight. later brotha!

did you keep a thread for the grow? just like to see your progress. if it was 1 plant i would have kept it and made it last since its so expensive there. at least now you have a skill overthere that will benefit you i'm sure

Heat kicked my ass as well, and as a result, I aborted my first 3 seedlings. (may they R.I.P.)

Got 3 more doing lovely now though, about the same age as yours.

thanks GC, yeah my jilly bean looks a bit heat stressed but the rest are fine. i just do a few at a time and grow for myself. you seem the same. i'm in an apartment so i cant really go all Tony Montana ya know. airflow is key so i'm going to get a muffler for the inline, so i can turn it up. puts out quite the hum. dont be a stranger
