i'd use floros instead of cfl's to better distribute the light and heat. that would also save a bit of the height space.

if you could make the cab a bit more than 90cm height, you could try to make the veg room under the flower one, and use the full floor space for both. then you could keep some really small bonsai mums and trained clones in the veg room with some t5.

80 cm long is hard to reach with only 25-35 cm between the cabs walls..

just some toughts..

you might want to consider these PL-Ls which are nothing more than remote ballasted CFLs, ...these pictured are 55watts per bulb and the ballast is a Fulham Workhorse8 which is rated at 220watts so able to power 4 of these 55watters. (note also that these bulbs are NOT identical, they are made by different manufacturers so there ARE differences but the essentials like length, power, Kelvin temp and socket pins are all the same standards)

...if you MUST use regular CFLs then i'd suggest you skip the high wattage bulbs as way too expensive and hot and instead go with lower wattage CFLs, the 23's and 26's can often be found for less than $10.00 for a 4 pack and usually you can find a $3.00 rebate from the local electric company, ...hell, if you wait and buy when they are on sale you can get them for a buck a bulb.

btw, i don't have a link handy at the moment but you should do a search for 'Anti and DrBudGreengenes, both of these guys can help you IMMENSELY.

Hey man, I would really like to use those PL-L's and I will try to use them in the future, however I've already got my lights so I will just have to work with what I got, I can't really afford more lights right now. When it comes to time to be needing new lights I will get some PL-L's. I need to see if someone wants to buy the bulbs I currently have first then I can buy something else..

I really just need to know the best height and if it's better to make each grow chamber 30cm in width rather than different sizes. And then I can start upgrading my lights and airflow systems.

whatever cab you build as your first cab won't be enough in very short order, ...i know from experience that this is true and once you start growing you will find this out too.

this is the FIRST cab i built, ...i use it as my motherbox and it holds 21 mothers in 2liter 'pots'.

...and this was my SECOND cab, ...this was my primary budding chamber for almost 3 years.

...my THIRD cab, lol, is linked in my sig and i built it specifically to house my cloning op and it has been in operation non-stop for almost 3 years now.

...i have one of these now as well, lol.

so i guess my point is that if you are new and planning for your first cab then it is best to take plenty of time BEFORE the build so when you DO build, you'll have a solid plan in mind.

...you might also consider modifying an existing cab as i have done rather than trying to build from scratch, it is often cheaper to do and the end result can be quite stealthy if you take your time.

btw, i really meant it when i suggested you look up Anti and DrBudGreengenes, both these guys are doing things you only WANT to do and studying thier work can only help make your final outcome better, easier and less expensive.
