Querkle is a great strain. I had it as a keeper for 3 or 4 years before changing to another. the leaves on mine were almost an egg plant black they was so purple and the combo of light green buds with purple frosting had top notch bag appeal. I just wish it had a larger yield or I'd still grow it. Yours are looking very healthy and should finish out nice. Good luck on your grow

I have been growing this for a few years now never disappointed. The cross I made with it also have the same low yield. Im going to keep working with it.

The smell is a very sweet dank aroma. It should have a grapy smell when its done thats how I smell it anyway lol..

Querkle is some dank shit, and those nug shots are a testament to that.

I had one pheno that smelled like sugary roses when cured, very heady. Another that lacked any dominant smell to describe, but had a very high resin content that made it somewhat harsh. That one was easy to develop a tolerance to. The third was urkle dom, lazy/sleepy indica high. The taste and smell were the best part, after a long cure all it smelled like was grapes. I opened the jar to a nonsmoker friend with their eyes closed and they thought it was smushed up grapes, they could not believe it was weed when the opened their eyes there was 0 ganja smell to it. The last pheno was my keeper, spacequeen dom growth very lanky, very nice solid clusters of purple nugs with beautifully colored leaves. The purp color went away after the chop. It had a deep wine scent and taste. The highest resin content, and a high that would leave you thinking wtf was I doing with 4 kinds of cereal when the ride is over. I will be growing it again when I have time and space to pheno hunt. Thanks for the pics and bringing back fond memories

i have 3 of these in the test phase along with 4 deep purple and 8 bud depot the purps

i basically 12/12 them from seeds and seeing how they fair , i was unlucky with females and both the deep purple and querkle 10 of each and only 3 qurkle and 4 deep purp but good on the bc purps 8 outa 11 female .................... only 2 to 3 weeks into flower and early observations have qurkle in the lead for resin , deep purple has the biggest early yeild and by fair the purps has the most purple and grape smell , most others dont smell of anything yet but can smell grape on 4 of the 8 purps ! ............ but early days yet , yours looks stunning :)

got 6 purple wreck fems to but they seem very trainwreck to me , and all identical basicly, no smell yet but nice resin ,

HH, your recent work with Querkle is awesome. I haven't tried any of it (obviously, since you just released them to the bay), but you look like you're well on your way to something great. Keep up the good work.

awesome! it's weird how my querkle leaves are thinner than all my others strains..the jack the ripper's ones are far wider...maybe only the vortex leaves are more sativish.it's weird couse qurkle is a indica dominant plant with sativish leaves.. lol my plant looks very similar to yours

I ran a clone that was called QUERKLE a few years ago. Although the yield was medium to low, I think one would have to have had no taste buds, NOT to love it.

Nice fotes, HH...!

I love this strains flavor... I have my PP X Q flowering now as well. I hope I get the flavor I wanted.

Beautiful flowers, very sweet looking Hammer. Do you think they would make it outside? I have very hot dry summers and usually dry warm fall. I am looking for some grape taste and potent smoke. Back in the 80's i bought some smoke that had the nicest grape taste and very expanding in the lungs.
