good advice on the sprays Mr C, i am a huge fan of neem oil and have been forgetting to use it lately.. I used Eagle20 once on vegging plants and it smelled so bad/chemmy that i will probably never use it again.

i use pyrethrum (Take Down Garden Spray) for mites, do you have any opinion on that?

Ya Eagle20 is the nasty, can't be good for you or anyone using it.

I don't have anything moral against pyrethrum, but I find it highly ineffective.

Really, know thy enemy. With that said, mites have a life cycle and science to how they reproduce, when they go into different stages of their lives and the more you understand that the easier it is to control them. Eggs can stay dormant for a long time, so just because you don't have mites right now, doesn't mean they can't be living on your floor, in your pots or on your walls. Basically they metamorphosis every 3-4 days and can only breed/lay eggs in their adult stage. So if you are using neem and azadirachtin products, you are going to inhibit their ability to eat/molt and evolve into those higher stages where they can reproduce. Something like pyrethrum is going to kill adults (hopefully) but isn't going to stop them from reproducing and having new generations hatch in your room.

I highly recommend Azatrol or Azamax as an azadirachtin concentrate to inhibit there metamorphosis.

Other things one can do is be careful about introducing new genetics into your rooms because of possible pests/pathogens that are living on those genetics. Also keep animals that have been outside out of your rooms as stow-a ways can be introduced. Also, bugs are attracted to decomposing organic matter, so clean and bag up the leaves/stems you cut away. Sweep often and keep things very clean.

love the drainage setup.

I ran something similar to this but on a light mover but I love how you did your rows far better than what we ran.

Great ideas for our next build indeed!

keep it growin

Bonzo, medmaker420, OLDproLg, Hundred Gram Oz thank you all for your compliments and support. Welcome :)

Hundred Gram Oz, I've found coco to be a funny medium in that it doesn't dry out quickly, however watering it semi-often is a good idea. So right now, about every 3-4 days.

Almost finished with the autowatering system and changed where the exhaust goes. I was having a problem with the noise coming out of the window and the possible security risks from it.

I'll snap a bunch of photos when I finish the watering system and click them over to budding.

Hey ya'll, got the autowatering system installed, dialed in and got my flat room planted.

These are the adjustable drippers I use that are attached to 1" poly. You can unscrew the dripper and easily clean it out if one should get clogged for some reason.

1 1/4" PVC brings the water from outside the room and feeds the 1" poly tubes.

The reservoir is located outside the room and has two different runs of pvc with ball valves so I can water one half of the room at a time (was unsure if my 4/10hp pump could handle both, but it can).

Here's a general shot of the room where you can see I moved the ducting into the attic and not out the window anymore. Edit: Forgot to say this is there first day of budding and the trellis netting goes up tomorrow.

My brand new ballasts (sorry for shitty picture).

Freshly planted coco in 3gal smart pot amended with dolomite, azomite, oystershell, greensand using the full Cutting Edge nutrients line + voodoo juice, roots excelurator, humic acid, promote, hygrozyme, horticultural epsom salt and Acadian Seaplants liquid kelp.

A nice shot of my fake GSC, in other words New Wave. I love it when people scam me.

My buddy ran into the metal halide while it was on the other night and it exploded. It was pretty cool, cause it was still lite up before I quickly pulled the plug. Vert is dangerous if you aren't paying attention.

That`s 1 helluva feed regimen Mr C....and no Bobbles....this ain`t his first rodeo.....He `s well experienced.....and all take notice of the "small" size Rubbermaid cattle/horse trough he`s usin for the main rez.....awesome equipment , and easy ta build a lid for to prevent algae buildup......

The only thing I can recommend is H&G`s Dripclean @ 1 ml per gal for cheap insurance to prevent any drippers from cloggin up as well as the ionic properties it has ta lock onto un-used nutes and prevent residual salt buildup....

Label says .4 ml per gal , but my Med Growbro`s on the left coast have found dialed results without repercussions @ 1 ml per....expensive but worth it for dialage.....

Somethin ta think about Bro.....anyways.....

Good luck.....and yeah....Bare bulbs bite.....but they work so fuckin well......

Peace...DHF....:ying:......

bobblehead thanks for joining.

Shcrews, ya luckily my buddy wasn't hurt.

DHF Thank you for the compliment. I was confusing when I explained the nutrient regime. The vert system that is on drip is H&G's entire line, including drip clean (substituting shooting powder for Atami Tabzz). The cutting edge craziness is a recipe from a friend who always pulls 2lb a light in flat gardens, so I'm trying it in my 3.5k flat room.

Cool....Flat grow on the organic side , and stadium separate feed schedules w/dripclean for the stadium....So....

I`ll be over here on my bucket....Hope sideways canopy fills out accordingly and yields bigtime....

Just remember the rules with stadium setups for the gpw`s.....

The tops of the plants below every level need to occupy the space where each plant above has been hacked out /lollipopped/pruned/shaped/raped accordingly for that perfect sideways canopy ftw by end of stretch till end of cycle.....That said....

Handle it my buddy and Kill it....

Peace...DHF....:ying:......

Sub'd

Once your roots fill the pots I'd start watering every day, you can really get them to swell that way in coco for max yield and gpw.

Can't wait for the rest of the show

Mister_D, Green lung, Catfish Billy thank you for the advice and praise.

Green lung, the walls are simply framed with 2"x4" (not to code) with 2" foam insulation board for the walls. Attaching the foam board needs screws with washers, otherwise the screw will go right through the foam board. All gaps were sealed with foil tape. 5 rolls of foil tape were used between construction, HVAC and patching small holes.

Catfish Billy, I agree with the watering often. I don't think I will be able to everyday with the cost of the entire H&G line, but every 2 or so days will probably happen.

Edit: I finally got legit cookies!!! 10 moms = a lot of clones in the near future.

That room looks great. I am really impressed with the dripper system that you installed. Some strains that I have found to work well vertically are grape stomper, chocolope and GDP although there is no beating the grape stomper as it vegetates and yields well.

I thought that looked like painted foam board R-matt.

I did the same thing on my last grow great stuff to make walls out of.......way simpler than drywall and strong stuff!
