Smokalot´s tarzan grow

Hello all fellow gardeners! Although we still have snow on the ground around here im going to start a thread so i can show everyone whats going on aswell follow my own progress!

So i bet everyone is asking what the fuck is a tarzan grow?? Well its another word for a tree grow i just found the word in someones thread and found it suitable :dance013:

My plan is as following.. As soon as the snow melts away I would guess next week im going out to scout out some trees that will be suitable to tie a couple of pots to. Right now i have around 12 pots that are 7Liters big each, do you think this will be enough??

Strains are pretty much unknown, i bought a 20 pack of mixed feminized seeds from Sensi im hoping that some of those will be early finishing strains such as Early girl and what not!
Also i have like 4-5 autoflowering seeds thrown in, theese are really old seeds and about 5 of 15 germinated so im not having to much hope in theese.

Im living at 64 latitude north so we have a very short summer but sun is shining almost 24/7 at summer times.

Im at this stage at the moment (vegging under a 250w HPS)

Also a bonus pic of a SLH nug that i grew indoors this winter :huggg:

have you thought of any tricky ways to water them? or are you going to be swinging around on vines like this dude...

Hey there! Well, I havent planned anything special on the watering part so its going to be just like that dude except not dropping the vine lol. Today i ordered some water crystals (dno english name) theese things expands like 70% or something when they get in touch with water so I wont have to water so frequently cause the keep the water better! :dance013:

Lol yeah I worked there for like 3 years.. Cheap bastards wouldn´t even give em to me so i had to steal them from the backdoor :D

Peace

Greetings ICmaggers! So i have been out scouting for the perfect tree to grow in and well, im out wayy to early.. The snow is still like almost knee deep.

Trees are all hanging and so its hard to judge if its suitable for some pots but i found some really climbable trees and so.. Some pics!!:

My only concern with this spot is that its in a pretty busy area. It's actually like industry place so meanwhile i was there i could hear trucks going in and out and cars pulling in and so. Surely no one would go into that forest and look up in a tree, but they might hear me if branches are breaking off and so.. I dont know if this is the right spot.. Imma have to go in the middle of the day and see how busy it is and so on.

Tomorrow ill post some pics of the plants! Here is a nice bonus pic of a steady blunt i rolled up :)

hey good luck this year. i was thinking of a tree grow but the idea of dragging water into the woods, then up a tree turned me off that idea.

Next week thursday-friday im going to get into the tree and get a move on, putting pots and dragging the soil over there! I loaned axe from my mate so i can trim off and make it perfect ;))

Swaying in a tree....

Swaying in a tree....

Hi here i go with a little update from my adventures this night as promised.

Right now i have two things im thinking about.

1. Very close to the tree there is a path going from one to the other side of the forrest. From what i can tell this path is not used alot and was slowly starting to get overgrown, this path is maybe 5-10 meters away from my tree of choice.

2. The pots are not completely camouflaged in that tree. I honestly dont think you will see it unless you are looking for it, but as soon as i transplant my fine ganja ladies their color will really break out from the tree. Any tips or thoughts about this one?

View from below with the pots put up, can you spot them ?

This pic is up about 10-20 meters up in the tree, the branches where i planned to tie up my pots so sorry for shaky pic lol

Just looking at this picture makes my stomach turn around

Took me some time to camouflage the soil and pots in the close enviroment. Also guys I am a shit poor student so i don´t have the possibility of a car. Imagine taking your bike with a 50 litre bag of soil behind you with a flat tire on that. Couple sweaty and little paranoid minutes later i made it to the spot though, that shit was heavy!

Can you spot anything there??

After all this was done i took some time to light the first spliff of the morning with the morning sun rising. Just one of thoose moments you thank god for being alive

Just another question, what would you suggest best method of tieing the pots to the tree would be??

Sun is shining weather is sweet.....

Hey! Been a while since my last update ino but I DID IT =)

I managed to get 4 pots up in that godforsaken tree, and im telling you ICmaggers, i feel like i will never be afraid of anything anymore. Yeah also made a new rule: never visit the spot alone so i managed to get a good friend of mine to help and watch out while ím up in the tree incase something happens.

Managed to spot out another grow spot aswell, this spot is kind of busy but the area is like swamp so i doubt anyone will visit this spot. Totally there will be 4 plants in treegrow, 4 plants in swampspot and the rest 4 i will give to a friend to let him go 12/12 indoor at hes place.

I´ll upload some pics later on, didnt take many though. Peace and love!

i hate to break it to you but the non auto flowering strains probably wont finish at your latitude, the days will be too long and they wont have enougf time to flower.
if i were you i would flower your plants indoor, otherwise nothing but the auto flowers will make.

This is a super sick grow set up smokes a lot, I found a grow setup in a tree once on a mushroom wander in college. I even went back when I sober to make sure I did not hallucinate it all. I can remember thinking to myself, what crazy fucker packed pots and a water barrel up a damn tree.....How does your back feel after all that? Any chance your doctor says you need a backeodomy :)

get a pump for watering. pressurized stainless steel fire extinguishers work too. tree growing is a pain in the ass. i used a few camo treestands once and only once

I think the guy a few posts back is correct, I don't think the non auto flowering plants you have will ever make it to bud at your latitude this summer without blacking them out...

Rainy days...

Rainy days...

Hello everyone! Back with a update of the situation =)

Last couple of days has been really hectic for me. First i spent a while trying to get a hold of a car so i could drive out everything and it was a hustle tellin you, but last i got a car and a very good friend of mine helped me to get everything out.

Yes I do know that theese plant will have a hard time finishing at this latitude, but it is what it is and truth is if I didnt put them out I would have to throw them away because i have now moved to another place where growing isn´t possible but we will see, hopefully i got some early finishing strains out there

So, 2 different spots with 4 plants each. 4 in a tree and 4 located at a perfect big open spot that is really hard to acess, 20-30min of very thick wet forrest and then couple of small waterflows thats impossible to acecss without rubber boots or likewise... I really belive in this spot!!

Here are some pics, again sorry for bad shaky pics but you have to imagine standing 8-15 meters up in a tree and trying to get focus in the picture, aswell being very stressed and quite so no one sees us.

Open field spot might even have 5 plants, im not sure at the moment. I gave the tree pots a little spray paint so they´ll camouflage a bit more it did help a little. So tell me what you think guys, i only have to maintance now water that is so it feels good

Well, i have to rush now so peace out til next update!

Hello. Sorry for a very late update, i have barely had any time over theese weeks. I managed to take a visit last weekend and stuff in the tree spot looked great, although i didnt have time to visit the open field but theese spots are pretty closeby so if not a animal has eaten them they should be alirhgt! One thing i noted thou, they have stretched very much so i guess they arent getting the ultimate sunshine up there, problably some branches blocking sun

I will get to the other spot and take some better pictures next time, until then peacee out
