Does some mold mean its all no good?

I don't know where this belongs (I thought mb infirmary but these plants are already dead so can't be infirmed).

I am trimming and find some mold when I peel some buds open, the white puffy kind (is there any other kind?). Mostly with dense buds but not always. I find it in a small localized location and mb traces right above it, but the rest of the bud seems fine and really nice looking. Is that other bud off the same plant ok or will it develop mold as well? This shit has been drying for 2 weeks in a tent. Yes in the basement but that is the only safe and feasible place for me to do it right now. I am doing it in a tent with lots of ventilation (the same or more as when there was a 1000W HPS in there!) and the air is constantly moving. So maybe there is a better way to dry in the future but for this batch, is the apparently uneffected bud off the same plant good? 90% or more of plants don't have it and 90% or more of affected plants seem ok (only a tiny fraction is obviously moldy).

you can remove the bad sections. unless you have compromised immune system or prone to lung probs you wont ever know the difference. some people make extracts from moldy stuff. i toss it.i imagine i have breathed in billions of spores by now.

It might have some spores but if you're OK with smoking some then do it. It probably won't hurt you but it might not good for you.

When I had moldy bud I cut the moldy sections plus some extra to be sure, and everything seemed fine under the 30x. Cleanliness is a must, though, so separate the moldy buds immediately and wash your hands and scissors before cutting any more of the bud. Be very vigilant during curing!
IMO it's OK to make hash out of the moldy stuff. It made a very nice hash for me, but I'm also OK with smoking a few spores as long as I can't detect any with the 30x, so if you take my advice please keep that in mind!

though it hurts to get the mold....anytime I've gotten it I toss out whatever is moldy. I've tried to qwiso it, but the taste was nasty. I didn't feel good smoking it so from now on it all gets tossed out.

You can make good ice water hash out of the moldy buds. The water removes the mold and the bad tastes. I tried qwiso before too, but it ended up tasting like mold. I ended up eating that batch in capsules with no ill effects.

Depends on if you're growing for yourself or others and if the others are people on the streets using recreactionally or people who use medically. If it's just you and or people who use recreationally you can just cut away the affected areas and keep the unaffected areas, far worse then mold ends up in alot of the stuff sold on the streets. If you're growing to sell to a dispensary that in turn sells to medical patients then you should seperate the moldy buds entirely and only sell to the dispensaries non moldy bud. Although hopefully the dispensaries are screening for it too and won't buy any moldy bud.

Smoking mold can lead to serious respritory problems but only if you smoke alot of it in a short span or a little of it consistently over a long span. An occasional hint of it in what you smoke will not likely do any measureable harm unless you are prone to breathing problems and/or have existing issues such as asthma or COPD. Then again if you have those conditions you shouldn't be smoking, mold or not.

drying for TWO WEEKS?!!! should dry quicker than this IMO.

but a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water sprayed onto mouldy buds to saturation then allowed to dry will disappear the mould. then no bad taste.

Grey Wolf has a oil thread that discusses mold. A 2 micron syringe filter traps mold spores and passes the solute through.
Good stuff, look for it.
