Hi, I bought a package with 10 Spontanica (KC Brains Seeds) seeds. I don't know much about this strain only what the bank says. I would like if anyone has grow or tasted it and know what his think about Spontanica. Any information you can give me would help me. Information about its grow, about its effect, about its flavour... whatever.

Peace.

I am a big KC brains fan and ive grown a bunch of his strains. Many of his strains were developed for outdoor growing and thats rare. Most breeders work indoors and their strains are weak and suceptable.

I havent grown Spontanica but i have a friend that had 2 females and grew them out. It was nice smoke, citrusy and the plants were fucking huge. 12' sativa like.

The best advice i can give you would apply to many of brains strains. YOur growing a fucking jungle vine and if you dont top it and control its height, youll be wrestling the bitch around the grow room. Even if you dont veg for long, it'll jump towards the ceiling in a flash.

All of his strains are good and youll like the smoke but watch her and dont let it get away from you

Hi, thank you for the info ;). I will to grow the plants in outdoor, with approximately 7-8 direct sunlight hours. How much height can be achieved with these hours?.

I don't know KC Brains until a few days, but but their strains are very interesting and standard (not feminized), I prefer standard seeds. What do you other KC Brains strain suggest me? (for the next planting).

Peace.

I popped 70 kc33 seeds two years ago and only 20 were female. Lovely fruity exotic smoke with great up high but that m/f ratio kinda put me off KC

Only 20/70 female seeds? :O I hope to get lucky and have more female and I get a male, I keep it to pollinate and collect seeds, making crosses...

Is there any way to increase the possibility of female plants? well as luck haha.

I hope at least some female of the 10 seeds.

Peace.

Brains is a top notch master gardener and breeder. He's a bit eccentric and shuns the brightlights but he's been breeding good strains for many years. His KC33 is a good yeilder and probably the best outdoor strain on the market for vigor and hardiness. It grows to
10-12', has a nice happy high and a powerful lemmony taste. Good smoke and pretty plants. I grew my first brains plants in 98

Brain Damage grows to 8' and is appropriately named.
Afghani is wonderful old school - 8' plants/1lb. Sweet, redeye drool
KC36 is a massive yielder, good smoke

California orange!!! Try it man. Its great smoke. I kept a mother forever. I cant say enough good about it. I have 4 packs in the fridge.

Mindebender, I didnt like it.

TNR is probably one of the biggest cannabis plants available. It can grow to 14' or more. Sativa growth structure, decent, balanced smoke.

Ledo Uno. Good smoke.. Lemmony, good yield=2lbs or more. Beautiful, hardy and vigorous plants.

I suspect your spontanica will reach 10' if grown in good soil and gets 8 hrs of sunlight. Every strain ive grown,(all outdoors) have been extremely vigorous, hardi, disease resistant and bug proof. When growing KC33, i used to worry that something would top the plants becuase topped, its 10' tall and 10' wide. Hard to hide in the bush.

Ps. Spontanic won 1st place in a San Fransico cup years ago. Its good smoke. Kc33 won the cannabis cup in about 97 i think,.

Hi TLoft13, I grow KC Brains strains first time, I'm doing indoor.

I read people that have grow KC Brains strains indoor and it worked nice. I also read people that have grow the same KC Brains strains indoor and outdoor and say that outdoor achieve better results than indoor. Even though I think having indoor everything under control, achieve good results as well.

If you try grow KC Brains strains indoor, Your tell us your indoor experience with KC Brains strains.

I hope someone who has grow KC Brains strains indoor can tells us his experience.

Peace.

Tloft13, ive grown a few indoors. I grew crystal limit 2 years ago and kept a mother. Commericial yeilds and far better than average potency. Sweet Dreams is also a very good strain indoors and so is the Cali special. The special has several pheno's and 1 or 2 of the longer finishing picks are as good as it gets in my mind. There are some really nice, high quality pheno's in the Crystal limit and special. They dont stretch like the strains he's used the brazilian father in.

I think his Northern lights is one of the best around.

I have a good friend that was part of a grow family a few years back and they grew mango from k.c. they found a pheno that was done in 42 days, yes i said 42 days. good yielder, great bag appeal, good taste and strong high. i have been so tempted to get a few packs and try to find it. this was a few years back so i am not sure if the recipe has changed but there is a thread on here or uk420 where someone found it somewhat recently. search mango and i think it will come up.

I'm interested in his seeds as well. They seem to be very vigorous as they can grow huge, and have nice finishing times.
I'm just wondering if it's suitable for northern climates(50N) and what about mold/bug resistances?

Great stuff. Read a lot of great reviews. I'm always researching undervalued strains. Lot's of great stuff out there, one just has to look for them.

Leda Uno is another one that is supposed to be great.

This isnt widely known i dont think, but folks, KC33 is one of the best breeding plants ive ever used. Im not a breeder by any means but i have made a couple ofvery good crosses over the years and my best results have always been with a good 33 dad.

The 33 dad passes to all of its offspring a vigor and hardiness that is unequalled in the cannabis industry. Unbelieveable vigor, hardiness and disease resistance. It also passes on a 60 day finish and a happy, very lemony sativa high to the mix.

Ive crossed my 33 with Sensi's maple leaf indica and the outcome is stellar. Huge, big bud type yields of sweet lemony happiness and laughter from a plant that finishes completely in 50 days and is vigorous and tough as hell indoors or out. Ive only seen 3 pheno's but really only 2 for the most part. The differences are in height and flowering time. One pheno is shorter and fast, one is talll and takes 60 days.

I crossed it with a happy blueberry mom and again, its one of the nicest plants ive ever seen or smoked. Happy, happy, happy, life is wonderful!!! Smoking the weed is blisss and is a huge yielder of sweetness that finishes in 55 days. Give this cross a try guys.

Im getting ready to dust my sour diesel with 33 dust and i know it will result in a SD high in a plant with hell bent vigor and tastiness.

I just cant overstate the breeding potential in brains stuff. Their IS a 42 days branch breaker in the Mango strain and it passes it on in crosses and is similar in critical mass in its genetic appearance. Mulitple pheno's that range from a dead animal smell to sweet tangerines that finish from 42 days to 70 days.

You can find Brains regular seeds for 20$ a pack. The males in the 33, mango, Afghani and haze are priceless.

KC Brains breeds for hardiness, exotic flavours and incredible afordable, and in regular form (as it should :kos:). I am always wandering in their catalogue, definitely I will grow something from them.
Not many documented grows thought, but Haze Special, KC33, Leda Uno, Mango and Bahia Blackhead are definitely in my queue (any recent reviews are appreciated, specially the Bahia Blackhead).

Hopefully this is not against the TOU: http://www.cannabiscafe.net/foros/showthread.php/47826-Que-Tal-Ha-Ido-VuEstra-Espontanica

I think his Northern lights is one of the best around.

It used to be excellent, but I'm talking about 15 years ago; but I grew it last year again and found it wasn't as good as it used to be; admittedly they got attacked by winged root aphids and lost most of their leaves, but still doesn't look the same as it used to be; it used to be very indica and now it's more sativa like.
Crossed it with a Darkstar from THSeeds so will see how they turn out.
KC33 is an excellent smoke.

Yeah I grew out TNR in 04 and 05 it was a great vigorous plant indoor and out. But that was then and this is now. I bought 6 beans of KC's Feminised stock. Two each of TNR, SPONTANICA, and KC36 purchased from Herbiess seeds. I trust Herbies and always get breeder packs if I order a full pack. I havent had luck with feminised stock so I thought I would try again now that its been on the scene for many years. Will be trying 33 as you and others give it a consistent thumbs up. I imagine it to taste lie super lemon haze but with a kick but outdoor yield. If im not mistaken it can be very lemony is what im getting from reports. Also another thread said kc won a cannabis cup in like 97 with it, but never heard of him entering.
For outdoors KC is where my moneys at but the feminised thing is a risk in my opinion. Anybody have any success with his feminised line?
