Some vigilantes calling themselves the "Republican Action Against Drugs" have taken to giving those suspected of involvement with the drugs three options: leave the city, agree to be shot in the legs, or face death. Interview with a mother who let her son go out the door and take shots to the legs. Jesus christ.

They'll be a crim gang, calling themselves IRA--thats how they are funded-bank robberies and drug dealing.
Nothing like the force they were, since the US started clamping down on misguided "Irish" Americans donating money for guns when they will never ever be anywhere near the violence or risk their own families being caught in a crossfire/carbomb.

The problem in NI is not just the Republicans, the Loyalists are doing exactly the same shit, as do FARC in Colombia and many others.

Terrorist/Gangsters hiding behind "Anti Drugs" public posturing bullshit, whilst being major league dealers/producers/smugglers themselves.

One friend in NI got sussed for growing at home as he was not buying from them, they knew because of that and "nicely" told him to stop. Someone else got his legs broken recently for selling on a Oz of non shit hash to a "friend" with a big mouth...
