Sativa high that grows at Indica heights

A friend of mine just asked which strain would be ideal for fitting that description. Headspace Sativa, plant structure Indica. DJ Shorts FLO and F13 came to mind, but those beans are expensive and we are on a budget (mainly shopping around for next year as the roster is quite full this season).. Plants hardy enough for outdoor would also be a prerequisite.

Any ideas?

it seems to be disappearing, but some California Orange versions are close to that
the last Nirvana version was a short indica looking plant, but did not have much of an indica feel
not perfect, i wouldn't say it was as good as a proper sativa, but was pretty easy for growing in a small space

Cindy99 - except it's a more of an indoor plant. Or some of the sativa based autos - check SGS, Mdanzig or other breeders.

I have kept a SSH trimmed well enough to stay short and bushy versus tall and lanky.

I grew out ACE Panama Red. Vegged 7 weeks, in flower they might have stretched 70%. This was under LED which keeps things short. They were 18 inches tall at harvest at 12 or 13 weeks and a couple at 15 weeks of flowering.

Super high quality buzz imo. No anxiety issues, just a good amount of energy if you like that. I could sit still on this stuff, which is saying a lot for a sativa and my brain's reactions to it.

Cindy crosses. Cindy is kinda weak stemmed. It can be grown outdoors but winds and rain will start snapping branches when she fattens up.

Once of the more indica phenos of Jack, SSH or Jock would fit the bill

Maui Wowi for us is a dead ringer for what you desire. Unfortunately don't know of it origins.
CO cut that is readily available in shops.

Early Sativa. I've grown this one. Super short, super quick, pure sativa high. Not the most potent, but very nice. Very very low odor. Almost no odor, but a slight sweetness, and super smooth smoke.
