The 6k Stadium that foil tape built

Hi guys/gals

Another rodeo underway. First Stadium, not my first vert.

The room is 8' wide, 8' tall and 20' long. The stadium is 16' long and slopes 3" over the whole distance to allow for drainage. The auto-watering system isn't setup yet, but all the supplies are purchased and will likely get installed tomorrow or the next day. The whole room is covered in Orca grow film, except a couple spots that need touch up.

Bulbs are spaced about every 2.5', mounted on a 2"x4"x12' on a pully system that allows for raising and lowering as needed. There is 5 Hortilux HPS and 1 Hortilux MH all on brand new Quantum digital ballasts.

78 plants in 4 gallon pots with pure Canna coco (nothing added). Full line of House and Garden Nutrients with the substitution of Shooting powder for B'Cuzz Tabzz (same thing basically but costs less).

The right side of the room is 707 Headband and the left side is Sage N' Sour. I would have preferred headband the whole way but I'm working with what I got... and who can complain about free clones.

There is two Can-fan Max 10" with Can-lite filters mounted on the ceiling. One is constantly on, with a dimmer to have constant air flow and negative pressure for smell. The other is hooked up to a temp controller for when temps spike with a backdraft damper so the dimmed one doesn't pull air through the other carbon filter and is at max airflow.

Enough with the chit-chat, on with the pics.

Mr C ,Nice setup just wondering what u lined the shelves with for drainage ? Also are you gonna veg for a bit or straight to 12/12 ? You could get some big plants in four gallon pots. Thanks B

Thank you DHF. My confidence will not be shaken, as Shcrews did this exact same size stadium and pulled 11lb with less wattage.

Buddler, I used pond liner stapled onto 2"x12" boards with 1"x4" that are screwed onto the side of the 2x12 to create a rim. These clones have been very stressed, so they will veg for about a week, be chopped back/trained and then vegged for another week. Its all about roots, roots dictate yield/health/size/everything.

Harry Gypsna, thank you and no I did not use the tape. Honestly didn't know it existed. I had to special order the film, as the 15 hydro shops in my area all did not stock it or know what it was. Honestly I wouldn't use tape either, staples are cheap and effective.

just for truth, i actually pulled 8-9 lbs which would have been 11 or 12 if i hadn't filled half the room with bullshit POG. used 4 1k's with a 600w on each side for 5200W total.

but anyway your room looks excellent and you couldn't really do much better as far as six-light stadiums go. puts mine to shame.

DHF wants to see more light in there, never a bad idea but not always possible... with that badass room you have, 2lbs per light shouldn't be hard assuming you know your genetics.

Thanks Schrews, I'd love to add more light, but as you said, it isn't always possible.

GOOROO, Mister_D thanks for joining the show, hopefully I'll preform for you.

On a side note, I got 30 Girl Scout Cookies for my flat garden today. Very excited. Could be New Wave but the person I got it from has grown out a couple imposters and says its the real deal.

Mr C....I wish you nothin but the best Bro....All I ever tried ta get you to consider was to make the room fit the 6KW lights for 50 watts per sq ft minimum and dial that sq ftg environment.....

I preach the same shit ta Shcrews and he knows it....but....as I said above....the setup looks killer and much respect for the hard work and implementation....and for the record....

I`ll NEVER try ta break your confidence Bro , only point out the little things that mean the most in maxin out yer shit...so.....

Show me yer stuff Mr C....Make an old man proud...Hereta help , not hinder...

Peace....DHF.....:ying:....

No worries DHF, no animosity.

I'd love to have more watts, but it just isn't possible in this situation.

Hope to make you proud.

VADO, Yes4Prop215 , sweetypie, dj digigrow, ClosetAdvocate, Nonphixion, gonzo ' thanks for joining.

Not a lot going on at the moment, boring veg. Going to click within the week.

No bugs, no PM = spray Azatrol, Einstein neem oil (hate every other brand) and compost tea, rotating every 3 days. Going to try Actinovate this time around to help insure no botrytis or PM.

I'm a firm believer that these nasty pesticides are harmful to the grower and the smoker and we as growers have moral obligations, when going medicine, to make our products safe.

good advice on the sprays Mr C, i am a huge fan of neem oil and have been forgetting to use it lately.. I used Eagle20 once on vegging plants and it smelled so bad/chemmy that i will probably never use it again.

i use pyrethrum (Take Down Garden Spray) for mites, do you have any opinion on that?
