Outside Supplemental Light

Will http://www.amazon.com/Gamasonic-GS-29W-Solar-Powered-Spotlight-White/dp/B000N4O8R4/ref=pd_sim_hi_7 work as supplemental light for my 2 plants outside? I am at 37n (san jose area) and I would like to put them in the ground now and not have them start to flower.

i use compact floros and an incandescent bulb 60 watts.in my greenhouses i had strings of bulbs and floros. you dont need much. i dont click links so dont know what your lookin at

I would go with something like this with CFL lights in the sockets.

This is run with 12 gauge wire so you can have long runs without much worry about voltage drop.

If you have seed starts put them in.
If they are cuttings wait a month.

If they are fresh rooted clones and you are in the South Bay throw them out you will be fine. If they are older clones I would wait until the first of June. I live on the other side of fremont and the clones I put out for the last two weeks have not flowered. keepem green dirrtyd

I put out fresh GSC cuts about 3 weeks ago and they didn't flower, still vegging away. However I have some tall ones inside that I would worry about throwing outdoors right now. I am in Mateo County.

Thanks for the replies guys. OrganicBuds i have something like that so that is what I am going to do. I have a romulan grapefruit that I have been vegging for a while so I didn't want it to start to flower.
