First@IC Vertical 1800w Bio Bucket Grow (Vanilla Kush + Super Bud)

Hey All!!
Krypt Keepa here,
Long time reader here at IC mag.. First time posting a grow!

New grow here about to start this week, if anyone knows about bio buckets you know there pretty cool!
So I took a mix of a Big Tokes over on IC, and Heath Robinson style.

I got 3 1000w Ballasts turned down to 600w each.
My plant's have been vegged about 8 weeks and stand between 26-34 inches.
The lights are positioned

So each plant gets at least 2 direct lights and one gets 3!

I'm using House and Garden nutes!

I have a 8 inch exhaust and carbon filter @ 700 cfm and a aggressive intake 6inch @ 500 cfm.
I am not using air stones, the 12 inch waterfall creates ALOT of Dissolved Oxygen, and a 1200 GPH pump can
exchange my 30 gallons of water up to 40 times a hour! So no dead spots and lots of water movement!

Besides that, I need to wait 4 - 5 more days for the beneficial bacteria to colonize in the lava rock!
Than i'm going to transplant into the Buckets, give the plants a few days to get over shock and Flower!
If all goes well i'm planning to get quite the harvest!

Looks good man.. hopefully you can keep it cool. The fans seem pretty good so hopefully it works.

I know the walls are reflective, but if it was me I would consider making pseudo reflectors outta reflectix so you can better aim the light. It will also help keep the direct heat from the bulbs away from the walls of the tent.

I have 3 honeywell fan's under each bulb, the slow air current gently pushes heat to the top of the tent and the 8 inch exhaust sucks the heat away very well!

Since the room evacuates its air capacity at least twice a minute heat wont build up much.
Some vertical growers have there bulbs inches from the plants and it light bleaches them,
but im going to play it safe.

Note: I got a new 1000w Lumatek air cooled ballast today. Going to transplant and fire it up!

Here we go, I can keep my hands about 6 inches from bulb without them being a little warm.

Temps are a steady 24, which is AWESOME
Humidity: 51%
PH: 5.7
EC: 1.4

DHF Its a honor you visit my grow, I seen your posts back in Big tokes and Heaths posts
when I was heavily researching!
I'll upload some IC pic's just so you can see!!

On top... one of my plants tipped over last night..... ( i duct taped the net pots to the
5g buckets... so that wont happen anymore)
soo im going to keep my plants in veg.. 2-3 more days to get them over shock..

Im terrified that there going to overgrow my room.. which they are..Im so happy I got 3 net's... Anyways.. Happy growing everyone!!

PS: Camera's dead.. but I went to check my plants just then..
and there the most vigorous plants ive ever seen!
This system / style of grow seems to be keeping them happy!
VERY excited to get this flower cycle going!

Update:

I think due to transplanting from Aero into these net pot's I got a little transplant shock,
I also have a little deficient problem.
I upped the EC from 1.2 - 1.5.

Since what I see here seems to be a solid Calcium or Potassium..
I lowered the PH too 5.5, that should let me get some Calcium in there and some potassium.

Besides that shenanigans, I took a few cuttings yesterday 5 of each Super bud and Vanilla kush.
PS: The super bud is super healthy.. and the VK.. is the plant thats hurting. Weird...

New roots are growing out of the net pot's I expect it will take them a good 3-4 days to get over the shock. Which honestly is kind of good, due to the fact that I don't have enough room for a big stretch.

Besides that there's a little residue on my net pot's you should be able to see, I wiped a bit it seems to not be getting any worse than when it started.

i cant wait to see your yield. I have the same size tent and i have a 3 plant limit. I was going to train the plants on the walls(like redspaghetti-link below) but if you get anywhere near 4lbs i will do the checker pattern lights. This guy yielded a tad over 4lbs. I wonder if your "Heath" style light grid will yield as much as this guys. well i wish you the best and im still debating in my head what light pattern to go with. I hope to learn some from your grow. Thanks for sharing.
