Ok so yesterday I was out and about I got out at Broadway and Fraser to change buses. I crossed Broadway and was surprised to see these growing on the median in between lanes. My mom used to collect these when I was a kid for her moose stew recipe. I believe she called them shaggy manes. Was odd to be such benevolent creatures growing as close as possible to one of the busiest streets in Vancouver. In the second pic you can see how close the road is. Peace GS

Had some thoughts today on the correlation between flower color and and flowering season. Seems to be a lot of blues and purples about early on then not the rest of the year. Peace GS

Hey ladies! ...And gentlemen! :flowers2:
Those are really neat flowers Mrs.Babba.
I saw these in the airport a couple weeks ago and thought they were really cool looking...
Admittedly a poor photo, despite that, does anyone happen to know what it is?

Hooray for poppies! Yay spring!!

Looking forward to more fantastic pix of spring flowers!! :)

I've been thinking about spreading wildflower/poppy seeds all over our field/meadow...
I'm hoping it will look just like that!! :D
