What are you cleaning your glass with?

Boiling water & baking soda is by far the most economical solution I've found thus far.

I like the sound of that! Cheap for sure.

I think you will need to test that. Resin is not water soluble. I have tryed hot water 150f with no luck.. The BS? give it a test run...

Try Zep Heavy Duty Citrus degreaser from Home Depot. About $6 for a gallon, works as well as grunge off in my opinion. I just get a tub to soak small pieces, or put a stopper in the glass joint and fill up the tube. Let them sit for as long as needed. I have not had anything that stands up to an overnight soak.

When your done filter the solids with a coffee filter and you can reuse it many times over just like Grunge Off.

I've heard the Zep will remove labels, be careful.

A good dish washer powder and boiling water gets my bongs and pipes clean in under 2 mins, give them a good rinse and bobs yer uncle sparkling clean glass ware.

It works far quicker and more effectively than iso or any bong specific cleaner you can buy. A tub that costs a fiver will last me about a year

I use a glass cleaner found in grocery stores called "Greased Lightning". It works really really well, and has virtually no odor. It's just a few bucks.

Usually I use iso and salt like most people do.

When a piece is real dirty it's time to break out the grunge off. The stuff is reusable over and over, and works like nothing else I've seen. Soak overnight and rinse, your glass will look better than the day you bought it. ALT sells the stuff, can't recommend it highly enough...

I know you are trying to go cheap...but time is $$, and I haven't found anything faster or better than 420 Cleaner!! My "Pure", 2 foot triple perc is a bitch to clean with iso...but 420 Cleaner can have it sparkling in like 4-5 mins!!

First, I fill my unit with hot water and let it sit for 5 minutes. This gets everything soft. Then I use rock salt and alcohol like everyone else. All the brown solids come off very quick. Once I'm done cleaning I rinse thoroughly, then use a light detergent soap to remove any salt residue and also leaves it smelling sweeter. Rinse again and then go make it dirty.
