The White Jones Test Run by Sneaky

Hello everyone. Sorry for the late start here, but I got the beans in the paper towel just now since my veg tent is almost ready to go into flower. I'm sprouting all 5 beans and hoping for a keeper. Figure I will most likely go with 2 or 3g fabric pots once they are big enough and take a few clones of each before I flip them. Oh yeah...I'm going to be LSTing them. This seems to be my favorite way of growing out of everything I've tried (which is just about everything) and produces the best results for me.

I will be using the botanicare nutrient line-up with sweet and liquid karma or bloombastic as supplements. They will be vegged and flowered using 400watts and should have a good two or so months to veg out. So hopefully this will be a good test show for you all here. Updates will be slow on the front-end (you know the drill) and will become more frequent as growth dictates.

And finally, before the first two pictures are displayed, lol, I would like to thank ojd and truecannabliss for the opportunity to test their genetics. All of what I have seen here of their line-up has looked great, and I hope that soon I will have some of those great pics to contribute here.

And into the paper towel they go...

All is well! 5/5 popped and are sticking their pretty little heads out of the soil. 2 needed a little help getting the shell off, but all made it and are breathing the fresh, open air. Just needs some time....

Latest news....3 look good, 1 looks a bit deformed, and 1 looks like it may have stopped all together for some reason. I gave them a light feeding today before I snapped these.

Not a whole lot going on at the moment, will update again in a week or two.

Hi everyone...got some new pics, but cant seem to get them to upload after several attempts. Guess I will try again in a day or two.

Anyway, got some new gear on 4:20...got a 200 watt and a 400 watt Diamond Series LED lights. Was going to move some things around and take my 3x3 tent down and only use my 2 smaller tents during the summer months, but ended up just moving everything to the bigger tents and now my smallest tent is empty. Gonna try and grow some shrooms for the first time very soon. The LEDs seem pretty nice atm, but we will see come harvest time. Snapped a few pics of them too for you guys to see in action when I can get them uploaded.

Now, for the update. All is going well in there with the ladies...the runt is growing as well as the mutant. They are now about 4"-7" tall now with about 3 nodes I think. They seem to be liking the LED light so far. Hoping to see some tight internodes in a few weeks.

So after a bit of reading (and deleting an album that I didn't need to) I finally figured out why pics werent uploading for me and resolved the issue. Had to turn down the mp on the camera to get them to upload due to the size limit. Hope the pics are acceptable for you guys.

got some yellowing of the lower leaves on 2. Not sure what that could be from....they all are being fed exactly the same. Gonna re pot before long in either 1 or 2 gallon fabric pots. Sorry for the lack of pics so far everyone, but now that I have the pic issue resolved, there will be more frequent updates with pics.

Glad to hear you got the pic issue figured out. I've had to upload them one at a time for months.
The girls are looking good. Looking forward to seeing them in fabric pots. Good luck with the new LEDs and the fungus.

well, I went ahead and transplanted into 1 gallon fabric pots. Figured I would let them grow for a few more days, maybe a week and top them all. After looking at my last post with pics, those girls looked pretty sad, and thirsty. Well, they are looking a lot better now and seem to be happy. There is some yellowing on a couple. Not exactly sure why, they are all being fed the same nutes. O well, Figure I will give them some time in the new pots to see the new growth before I start trying to correct anything.

The fourth pic is the one that started out a bit deformed. Looking good now, just the shortest of the bunch.

third pic is probably the one growing the prettiest and the last one is the most yellow of the two that are yellowing.

Well, got back from out of town and the girls were a little thirsty. Had a bit of Canna-balism (ha, ha). They were feeding from the already yellowing leaves from the bottom. So I fed the girls, snapped a couple of pics, and plucked the yellowing/dead leaves from the bottom. Last week before going out of town I topped each one and am waiting on some roots. I was considering taking another clone or two from each and throwing these girls in flower to see how they do. Do you guys think that 1g fabric pots are big enough? Or should I go for 2g? They are probably right at a foot, give or take, now that they have been topped. Anyhoo, here are the shots before I removed the yellow leaves.

Since you asked...sure. I was hoping to have some pics first, but o well. The girls are doing great. They were topped and all five topped have successfully rooted. Another week in the cloner and they will all have nice, long roots and be ready for a pot. About 8 days ago I threw the seed plants in the flower tent. They haven't really done too much since the last pic except grow up just a bit...but they do look pretty. I will try and get pics up by Monday morning after I get home.

Well, here are the pics. Snapped them yesterday.

This is after a trim of the undergrowth. Everything is looking good to me. All 5 plants have between 4 and 6 or 8 tops and all of them look to me like they will fill out very nicely. Also, I just got through putting all 5 of the clones into soil. So, assuming they all last another day or 2, all 5 have been preserved. But they all look very similar, except you can tell which ones are directly under the lights. I think they are about 10 days into flower now, so I guess about 55-65 days to go?

So I guess these girls are about 2 weeks in now. Looking good so far.

Forgot to snap pics when the girls were out. Will try and remember next time.

Thanks Pete.

Snatched a few pics two days ago and just now got time to upload.

First, the tops that were taken from the ones in flower. They are probably just about the best clones I've ever taken I think. I'm really impressed with how great in structure they are. All five of them.

I'm considering topping these and sending them into flower soon for a smaller plant than before.

Today is day 22 on these girls (pics taken at day 20). Looking great. Pretty tight nodes on all of them. All look similar to me, however, there are a couple that seem to be growing a little nicer to me. Could be plant placement, but they have always been on the outer edge...go figure.
