Take a look at the poll and make your number one choice...

i've spent some time building up my hybrid and indica strains, time to focus on more sativas from around the world... :D

if you don't see something in the list you like, speak up :tiphat:

i don't see the list you mentioned, but, if you are looking to start a sativa collection, i would think a durban and a thai should be in there somewhere.

maybe some worked columbians and mexicans as well.

maybe you can tell us why you are after a nice sativa (or three) and what effects you are looking for. while most, if not, all, -pure- sativas are 'racy'
.......some take racy to the trippy end of the spectrum; where you're seeing shit that isnt there and 'catching tracers/traces,' etc. while some, get you hyperactive and creative, some will get you paraniod and anxious.
all desirable traits to the differing tastes that us pot people have....

fill us in, mate. maybe we can refine our suggestions a bit.

****EDIT:

I'd really like to hear others' suggestions, as well. it's nice to see people still have an interest in the pure sats.
most overlook them because they aren't 'cost effective,' i'll say.

i trust, GP73LPC, you've seen the 'revive the ultimate sativa' thread. i think its a sticky. some of the most beautiful sativa specimens to be found on the web are right there in that thread. alot of discussion of the effects, growth habits, indegineous(sp?) climates the genetics hail from..........
all that good stuff.

puff a bowl and take some time to parooze it.

one of the greatest threads on this site.

hey wow, thanks for all the quick replies... i knew i missed something when i posted. i should have at least listed what sativa's i currently own...

AK47
AK48
Colombian Gold Haze
Eldorado
Hawaiian Maui
Lebanese by Kryptonite
Mekong Haze
Thai Stick (GN Collection)

as to what i am after... really a couple of things. the experience of the different plants and their highs. racy ones too....

and if lucky maybe some future breeders ;)

btw, the durban is a great suggestion... Dutch Passion? any suggestions?

Im not sure Dp's Dp is pure Dp, if you know what I mean,
I would look for Afropips Dp if you can find it.
While your at it, Afro's Malawi is said to be top class,
Also check out Rsc's sativas's.

I will be growing out a lot of my old sativas this season for preservation. Some of these very rare. Like the Dalat, Pure Durban, Zambians, Some North Indian varieties.

I would def add Durban to that list. Check out Chiskei, Nepalese, Swazi, Lemon Thai Sativa.

im new to sativas so im here to learn what other sativas people are growing.

here is what im starting with and im not sure what im looking for but a creative high is what im after. if it was non-paranoia/anxiety inducing thats a + but mainly i just want to expierence the different sativas out there.

Zamadelica, Viet Black x thai -- Ace

Super Madre Blanca -- SF Nachillo

If you're not scared of stretchy plants(and by the looks of some of your other purchases I'd think not...) Chimera/DJ Short collaborated on Highland Mexican(a guerreran collected in 72/73)x BB130(aka.dj's pimp daddy). Looks insanely good...

GP73LPC, no disrespect here, but have you ever grown anything out? How many different seed strains do you have? Just wondering.

yeah....if youre looking thai....get one thats been, at least, lightly worked/selected.
less chance of SUPER wild stuff (unless, of course, thats what youre after.)

i ran san-mans killing fields, and, while an -awesome- plant to grow AND smoke, i really wouldnt classify it as pure sat. but its great stuff to play with. i like it, alot, and recommend it often........ 11 weeks gets it right. might have some pics layin around of that one, if youre interested...?

i remember afropips had good durban. cant comment on on dutch passions version. never ran it, myself.

no problem asking man... i haven't been able to grow for sometime. i got into some legal trouble back in '06 and i am about to put all of that behind me. until the time i can grow again, i am re-establishing my seed stock and then some :D

I tried Breeder's Choice Trainwreck this year and liked it a lot. Next season I will chop them a little sooner as I let them go to longer than I think I should have.

I think you can go with true blueberry (dj), Destroyer (cbg), Golden Tiger and the Panama. you can't go wrong there. I would add Original Haze (tom hill), old timer haze (ace), Satori (mandala) and kali mist (serius seeds) they still get a part of my heart...

What will your grow conditions be, GP? You can't go wrong with Ace and Cannabiogen. If you have access to the great outdoors, I'd also consider the Ace Old Timer's Haze and crosses. There is something very special in the effects of the OTH. I also like Ace's Bangi Haze. Good for indoors, but very pungent in flower. I have a pack of the Orisha, but haven't grown it out yet. Supposed to be a mild ride. Tell us about how you expect to grow...indoor/out lights, conditions, etc.

Being a "Strain collector/Seed Junkie/Landrace Accumulator/Bean Gatherer", you should just get them all. You won't regret it.

my sativa's will most likely be grown outdoors in my greenhouse. i may give some a go indoors, but not really expecting that much if i grow them that way...
