I see some amber in there but you can let F-13 go for 70 or more inside. Let the plant guide you or take a sample nug if you can't wait. Good strain and a great looking plant. Enjoy and hope your choice comes easy.NS

I believe I'm seeing 10%~ amber crystals in that pic, in which case I'd say you're good to go. The rest of your decision comes down to the slight difference in yield and the type of high you prefer. Don't stress the decision much..live and learn..and enjoy the fruits of your labor :)

hey,
nice looking f 13 you should be observing the trichomes on the calyx's though not the sugar leaves ( thats what it looked like in the first pic) plus i thought DJ recommends picking with hardly any amber trichomes and goes more by floral traits.
i've always wanted to sacrifice the seed mom grows and just wait until i had three or four clones of each phenotype of each strain and grow them side by side and pick one of each at a different week to know exactly when to harvest after just the first run or two

Go by Trich color on the Calyxes, not the leaves. Since what you really want to smoke are the calyxes.

Plus, my leaves always have some amber from where they got bumped when I moved something, etc.

Looks good though! I start to flush around when there is only one or two pairs of white hairs. remaining. There really isnt a definitive rule though.

Infini, I wish I had more room to establish a few different mothers. As it is my teens already want to know why I spend so much time in the furnace room.

I find when you still have hairs forming in good numbers, like you seem to have, it still has a way to go. Like stated by others above, start flushing with just water and see how the plant responds.

I find tric's a hit and miss way of judging finishing time. It depends where you take the look with the loup, from a bud close to the light, or a bud down lower and more shaded?

I think looking at all aspects of the plant will give you a better idea than just tric's alone.

Nice bud by the way - look's tasty!

if they are mature, and were my kids, I'd be honest with them. i'd rather I teach my kids the truth about cannabis, so they fully understand it's risks and rewards, than have them learn the lies that schools and the media tells them.

thats just me though, so anyways, enjoy DJ's and your work.
