Nirvana seeds in a 4x4 - first grow

Hi everyone,

Been lurking the threads here for many years; you all have been a great inspiration to me. This is my first post and I'm very glad I can finally contribute.

I'm growing some nirvana wonder woman, ak48, and some random bagseed. Sorry if the strains aren't too exciting.

I started with 8 AK seeds, 4 W.W. (feminized), and an unknown number of bagseed using the paper towel method. Most started beautifully and I don't care going over how the other were killed but now I have 3 W.W., 1 AK, and 3 bagseed (maybe AK??? - I biffed!)

I have a 600w galaxy in a 4x4 no-name tent. They are maybe 3-4 weeks old. This is my first grow and I don't know if I want to top them or just let them go....

I am using GH flora nutes, I have the grow & bloom. Been going very light so far as I'm in 100% ocean forest.

By the way they were all 'started' under a 90W LED lamp... pics to follow.

As of today, almost one month....

So there they be, in the last picture you can see 7, middle / front left are all wonder woman, the one on the left is an AK48 and the rest are bagseed (although there may be an AK in there...)

What do you guys think?? The yellow leaves freaked me out a little but they are almost all gone now. Feeding one gallon of nute mix maybe 3 times every two weeks. I think they've only been fed three time though, maybe they could use another dose in a couple of days?

First grow so criticism is welcome, I have thick skin so say what you need!!

You'll need a bottle of micro to go with the grow and bloom.
You can use only two bottles, but you need micro and bloom.

Micro? I was planning on getting some cal-mag, but I do not know what micro is.. care to explain?

What I am really looking for feedback on is this: If I top them now, will I be able to flip in about two weeks? Is it worth it to top them? (I know, do more research..) I am leaning towards topping one of the W.W. and one bagseed just so I can see how they react first hand.

When do you think it would be ideal to flip? Do you usually wait for pre-sex?

Gh Flora is a 3 part nutrient.




Folks like Lucas, Rez and H3ad have come up with formulas using only the micro and bloom.

I wait for pre-flowers, before flipping to 12/12.

Cannot comment on topping WW, as I have never grown it.

This morning, after their first dark period last night.

Please ignore the empty pot, I need to pull it out. Decided 4/20 was a good day to make the flip and one I'd remember. Now I just have to watch them closely..

Hey all,

Some updates with the girls: only had one male (the cannabis gods are with me, or maybe they felt bad )

Luckily the male was also a bag-seed, so now I have three wonder woman, one AK and two bag seeds on the up & up.

The AK, this has been bent over to try and keep everything as even as possible. Some funky rigging will be in order once she starts to pack it on.
