Post Your Perpetual Setup Results

Well the goal of this thread can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. Anybody running a perpetual setup post up your results. Post any info you feel like typing out. As little as saying how much you harvest and how often, or as much as going into detail or your room setup (dimensions of grow areas, ventilation), grow setup (E&F, NFT, vertical, stadium, monocrop, multistrain), nutes and media (chem, organic, soil, coco, hydro), any sort of automated equipment (environment controllers, dosers).

If you just want to post your results feel free to stop reading here
**************************************************

Basically I'm looking to start my first indoor and I'm looking to replicate someones setup. I've read through countless threads picking up random info but nobody seems to have a consistent grow journal structure. Sometimes I'll read through an entire grow journal with great looking plants and setup only to notice the grower never posted any results on it. Whether they didn't know the yield because they didn't have a scale, didn't care, or what, it's sometimes disappointing spending time to learn about someones setup to never know what the stats ended up being, or what the dried bud looked like or weighed. So I guess call this reverse engineering because I would like to find my grow style/setup based on results someone else has already achieved with similar parameters.

The room I have is a section of the back of a 10' wide 40' long garage which is about 70% underground. I have set up a foundation wall in the middle so the actual section being used will be about 10' wide 20' long and 7' tall. This area will need to contain everything for flower and veg/clone. I want to pump out as much quality as I can from this area. Harvest minimum of a bow a month but would ideally like at least 2. What's the best way to use this space to crank the dank out? I would also like to integrate an iPonic 600, growtronix, or some type of controller to automate the room, primarily for the envir controls but would like to automate watering and feeding if I could using one of these controllers or blumats or something. Any help is appreciated!

I harvest 21-25 ozs every 4-5 weeks in soil, 9 #5 pots per light, regular vented room no c02. Clones get taken at harvest and are ready by next harvest. 2 weeks for rooting, 2 weeks in cups under cfls, and 3-4 weeks in 5 gallon pots under a 600 watter. Then 8 weeks flower under a 1k. I have 2k in flower, each one 4 weeks apart. I have 1 600 watt for veg.

Nutes are pbp, liquid karma, a little calmag, and big bud.

Veg and Flower room sizes? What's the most amount of time you can spend away from your setup? Don't most people take clones in veg or early flower? How do you take clones at harvest? Happen to have any dried bud shots from your garden?

I ask a lot of questions...

600 veg box is 3.5 x 3.5 x 6, flower section is two 4.5 x 4.5s with 1.5 foot space between them. I use oversized trays and fill them at watering which is good for 4 days. Next setup will have automated watering. Clones are taken from mommies at harvest time so they have 8 weeks to get ready for flower

So are you using #5 pots or 5 gal pots because from what I understand a #5 is actually somewhere around 3.5 gal I believe?

I`m retired and haven`t grown for almost 3 yrs , but I`ve been preachin Coco and Blumats for complete automation with the simplest setup ever made for just as long....and...

Have MANY Grow Bro`s Killin it with em at my invite only med sites...so...

I`m here ta help yas do all yas can with a 10 x 20 area if you`re serious about flippin rooms every 4-5 weeks at a time strain dependent with the Clone/pre-veg areas and all the equipment it takes ta keep the ball rollin for true perpetual....but....

It`s all about how far yas wanna travel down the rabbit hole for the results and then some runnin bare bulbs and blumats with the environment it takes ta keep em dialed and hoonin....

Peace...DHF....:ying:....

Strains?

Wattage restrictions?

Veg space allocation?

Plant count?

Perpetuals are effective for people who can stay disciplined, keep a schedule, know their strains, and are willing to work in steady, controlled chunks day in and day out.

It is, IMO, the best use of any space and any wattage, and two 10x10 automated-feed-rooms--once dialed--can be managed in a few hours a day (with some extra time dedicated to cloning and transplanting). With discipline, such a set up will be able to exceed your basic monthly expectation if you choose for it to. Dramatically.

Forgive me if I preach what is already obvious to the OP:

Your limiting factors will be your initial capital, your strains, your wattage, your courage/insanity and your willingness/ability to be a dedicated monster-fucking-grower. I do not mean (necessarily) a grower of big plants, but I do mean: Always on point. Always disciplined. Always taking care of the details today. Always taking personal responsibility. No fucking partners.

Follow DHF program: Environmental control cannot be overrated. Push and pull full volume twice a minute. Use the garage as a lung room. Push humidity up/down to 50% (or higher if you have mold resistant strains) and keep your temps as low as you can control (low 70s brings VPD closer into line)... Grow big plants or little, but design for 50w/sqfoot of effective illumination of canopy surface (lots more behind this, but the guidline will get you there). You win.

I was looking at all the vertical grows going on and they seem to make the most use out of your bulb. I just have no idea if I would be able to control the environment running bare bulbs. I would also be worried about controlling the canopy properly. I would like to run only fans for cooling but if I had to I could prob supplement with AC. My budget is around 6g's to start it all up but I should have room to budge if I HAVE to. Also, my main panel is only a 100 amp I believe so I'll be having some electrical work being done regardless. Was going to order a panel setup from DX and have a sparky do the rest. I have a thread already going over in the growroom design section that explains alot. I'll head over there now and update with pictures and other info if you'd like to help Planning and Pre-Construction

groer,my friends setup is similar to yours but he only gets about half the yield you quoted.only difference is he vegs clones with fluoros,1 wk in cups,1 wk in 1 gal copntainers and 1 wk in 3 gal containers, then to flower under 1000hps..he uses the pbp grow and bloom plus calmag and liquid karma.no big bud.....plants are northern light clones...

well i guess , flower room is 9ft x 9ft x 8ft high, 3 1000w hps bare bulb hung vert, each bulb in the center of 4 3ft x 3ft x 3ft screens squarded around light, 4 plants trained on vert screens , sometimes 3 to 4 plants in corners also, depends on witch strains im running on screens, basicly its 3 4ft x 4ft squares, one corner of room used for 2 55 gal res.

veg area is basicly a 4x4 tent with a 6oo w hps hung horiz. also a 5ft x 9ft area with 2 ft t5's for veg, i take cuts off vegging plants before going into flower, cloner is always full. from cloner to beer cups under t5, about 2 weeks there then transplanted to 1 gl pots and moved under another t5 for a few weeks, then transplanted into 5gl pots and into tent for 2 weeks then moved into flower room, basicly im harvesting 4 to 8 plants every 3 weeks, yields run from 1lb to 1 3/4 lb every 3 weeks, coco, hand watered everyday, house and garden nutes.

The 12-1 schedule seems to be beneficial in a perpetual grow

if slower veg growth is needed on moms or if the turn out is faster than expected

Ill be using it in the cloning and mother chamber

I run perpetual ebb & flo 60 2 gallon pots. In a legal state so 72 is my plant number. Multiple strains. 3 Rez stations. Veg is perpetual lighting, floro to mtl hid to Hps. Mtl is 2000 watt split to 2 600's per lite mover. 12 + 1 on final Hps.

Flower cooled 1000w raptors. 2 Rez. About 80watts per sq ft.

I chop every 10-14 days lb to 1.5 with the GrindHouse gear.

Perpetual is good for me, not everyone. Any problems to the train ya gotta fix it Runnin at full speed.
