How many times can you Reveg a plant?

As the title says,

How many times can you Revag a plant?

I understand that you can just take clones, but how many times can a plant be successfully Revegged?

:thank you:

ive revegged quite a few plants at least 4 times each.

usually by then the growth is a bit too leggy stemvise to fit properly in my space.

there are a few guidelines for successful revegging, but so far ive managed to reveg anything ive tried (indica, hybrids, pure sativa)

not more than 3/4 off the plant.

leave as many leaves as you can.

1-2 small buds are required to be left on the plant, as low as you can.

roottrimming is a bonus, never remove more than you took topside, leave at least 10% more sizevise than the top.

roottrimming does speed up the process.

if you want the plant to be 100% sure of revegging, dont take that much off it.

though you can basically take almost all the buds (just leave the tiny popcorn and the buds that are in the best position (low on the plant and in the center) you want to leave as many leaves as you can.

if you are new at roottrimming, might wanna just take off 10-20% (slice it like bread)

you could just cut off everything but a small bud and hope for the best (it works sometimes)

though if you would cut the roots to an according size , the chances of success would be multiplied.

ive put a 20l pot plant into a 5l one and had a successful reveg. so its not exactly a difficult process.

but you might want to ease into it if you are really keen on the plant (with aggressive trimming, chances of success go down from 100% to about 95%, though probably pending on gardeneres level of expertise)

Thanks SSO,

Yes, i have had some experience with Revegging.
Most of the time it was very easy, but the last time i tried it didn't work, which lowered my confidence. I guess it was just the strain?

I only ask, as i remember reading somewhere that Revegging was only good for 2 or 3 cycles. But, i think what they were meaning, is that it isn't very practical, as the stem structure gets too weird.

it depends, you can bury the stem if you roottrim properly.

most dont seem to roottrim too, so they usually end up with plants in really huge containers..

usually if plants die on me, ive cut too much off them.

I revegged a plant... then KILLED it.... (forgot to water for a couple weeks) then... watered it just to beat myself up... and then one branch came back to life... and then she made a full recovery....

And every plant I've grown in the last two years is that plant. :)

Stressed the FUCK out of that plant. Never a nanner.

She's a trooper.

2 weeks later i watered it just for the heck of it.

kept it wet (just for the heck of it)

3 weeks later it sprouted.

Dude...

You need to market this plant. Call it something like.... "Living dead sativa / indica" or something.

:)

One plant just a month or two short of 4 years. Revegging 3-4 times per year. Tough bitch with a stem like a small tree!! Good gurl

I always take two cuttings and send them to a friends house where he flowers them, and then I get a revagged plant back the next day... yeah!

I call multiple rejuves grandmother plants, if they have been rejuved more than once. Three is the most I ever did. I thought about cycling whole rejuve crops, with long veg cycles to let them get big again, but I never did it, clones are too easy.
