So Far So Good With PCK

I germinated 7, 6 came thorugh. I just left them in the proagtor to do there thing. Of those 6, 4 are female. 2 look to be the green pheno and the other 2 look like they could go purple.

Just wanted to say thanks, they look healthy and I am excited. Looking forward to these and the other seeds I purchased from yourselves.

I am not much of a person for posting pictures, but I shall do once they are finished. I will let them go upto 10 weeks, so 8 weeks and a few days more until I post any pictures, unless I am compelled to (I find it too hard to get a decent picture whilst growing).

However, 3 of the 4 cuttings are yet to root, whereas other cuttings have started to show their roots. Is PCK harder to clone, or have I done something wrong? I hope not.

it depends, sativas tend to root easier than indicas. Other thing to consider is if the cutting comes from the upper or lower part of the plant, lower cuttings have more auxins which root faster than apical ones.

The vast majority of the cuts, from other strains too, were taken lower down, but some could have been from higher up. Positive thoughts and all will be good. If not, its an excuse to buy more packets from ACE. :woohoo:

Welcome Prest1 :)

Im glad to hear you are about to flower green and purple PCKs. It's a pure landrace indica so it takes more to germinate, grow and clone, hybrids are always more vigorous to root, just be patient and keep the rooting medium humid, warm (25º-28ºC) and clean.

Pakistan Chitral Kush is a very special indica, hope you enjoy her!

I got 85.71% germination ratio, of which 66.67% were female. Females from seeds used was 57.14%. I love spreadsheets :) Couldnt ask for more really.

I clean my veg tent weekly and flowering tent every 2 weeks. Would be a nightmare if I had a biger space. I think its disgusting some of the grow rooms/tent I have seen, leaves all on the floor decomposing, soil spilt everywhere, dust on fans, Yuck. No thanks.

I am about to switch the cuttings over to a heated propagator after writing this post, give it some time to warm up first though.

Hi Prest,

Im glad the germination process has been succesful and that you already have found different females to explore the line. It's always important to keep clean the room to avoid pests, fungus and keep the best and healthiest environment for your plants. Best wishes!

Many thanks.

Are there any low THC/high cbd phenos you have found in PCK? I have one of the four that appears to have not have developed THC yet, bud has formed buds. She smells very nice, so could be a sweet daytime smoke.

I think these PCK's have the potential to be my favourite strain of this grow, just have a feeling.

I checked how the two unrooted PCK cuttings were doing, nothing had happened. So I simpply recut the cuttings and redipped them. Lets hope they make it. i have the other two if they dont, havent checked which cutting is for which plant though.

How would the PCK do under 250w cfl?
Beautiful strain from looking at the pics, the description sounds like my cup of tea as well.

better results under 250W HPS or MH lamp. You'll get more lumens per watt than with a CFL. it's more efficient.

Hi Prest1,

happy you are motivated with your PCK selection, it's a pure landrace line, reproduced in open pollination using different females so there is some variations in the line, but we hav tried to offer the best from this genetic diversity.
