Do it! And to those who don't have one, consider puttin one up! Not only are bats incredibly beneficial, but bats in the US are under attack from a deadly nasal fungus, and they can use all the help they can get.

WE have a big old iron wood stove in the basement. we have not used it in 12 years and we have a nest of bats in there you can hear them squeaking and making all types of noise but my mother likes them as we have a pool and they eat the hell out of mosquitoes. i can not weight to get that big stove out of there so i can see how much droppings are in there
more then likely its a high nitrogen guano because they eat insects.and a fruit eating bat is good for flowering.
