well hello everyone. so finally couldnt take it anymore and decided to "crack" some of my "big name" beans that i have. have 16 going right now that are all bagseed and being used for my learning curve (they are looking healthy and coming along). please feel free to leave any comments or ask any questions along the way. i'll try to keep this as updated as possible but i dont live where my babies are so i only see them a few days so bare with me on some slow updates. on to the setup and grow journal...
Medium: botanicare coco cut with perlite (3:1 mix)
Nutes: KISS 7g maxibloom to 1gal water
Lights: cfl/t5
now on to the strains...
qleaner - tga/subcool (4)
chernobyl - tga/subcool (4)
blueberry - dutch passion (2)
burmese - visc (2)
green c - bagseed but legit (2)
cali orange - bagseed (3)
bubba kush - bagseed but legit (1) not a fully mature seed so just crossing fingers on this one since i know i love this strain
4/8/2012: 18 beans were soaked over night and were then put into jiffy pellets and then were domed w/ tray and heat pad underneath.
4/11/2012: 11 of the babies are up and sprouted with another not quite there yet but can see it. the bubba, burmese, blueberry, and one cali didnt sprout. not expecting the bubba to happen and have actually had the burmese and blueberry beans for 5+yrs now and not stored always in the proper conditions.
and now for pics:
when i first checked them and then literally just added less than a cup of my nute mix to just make sure things dont dry out...
