What's new

Hello from the Southwest US

I grow pot legally/medically indoors in the desert Southwestern US. I am interested in trying to use more potent genetics and doing some low level pollen chucking.
I used to use 'whatever Indica' was available for a reasonable price, and now I'm starting to branch out into sativas. I grow organically in soil.
Looking forward to reading and learning here. I found this place while googling old DJ Short articles (good reading for those not familiar).

Hi Kamut,
Welcome to IC. I, too, am a Southwest legal patient and grower. I prefer Indica, but only because it takes care of my pain issues much better than the mostly Sativas.

If you have access to clones, you'll have much better luck much more quickly if you choose a proven clone-only strain. Try any of the Kushes, Green Crack, or maybe a purple strain like GDP or urkle. I've NEVER grown a seed that has topped these varieties.

Hey Zymos, I have been thinking about growing some Green C. Can you tell me anything about it's effects on pain? Also, what does it grow like(inside), and isn't it more Indica than Sativa? Just need some tips from one that has used/grown it.
Thank you!

Sorry Bruja- must be thinking of someone else- I don't have any experience with that strain...

i'm a bargain shopper... my gleanings are that on a budget, look for the seedsman haze mix pack if you can find any left. some of the british banks sell for under $15 u.s... one with free shipping (they're out..) i grew the pure original haze from seedsman and do regret losing that line. mix has got some good stuff i there.. the panama and sugar haze i've seen good about. haven't heard about the indian haze.

other bargain is ace's mix packs. atm they have a sale going on, their tropical mix (and maybe their reg mix packs) are only a bit higher, and grow reports on these strains are quality.
