ive heard it other places too..

the genetics sound similar, bay 11 is apparently Gods Gift x Sour D..

new wave, aka 3xkrazy....is (Purple Erkle x OG) x Sour D...then there is debate whether it was crossed again to another OG male.

the description sounds kind of similar.. the leaves are also similar to the GDP cut with longer thin blades. even the nug structure reminds me of GDP...

maybe they are related...

Patient 2 Patient in San Jose, anybody with a rec. can get em but they only had 4 or 5 left.
I have no idea of the lineage of this strain but I like it. I made some wax a while back with a half I got from them and it was some straight fire.

Nice pick up bro...I'm running his Grand Daddy "Purp" from seed now...just getting ready to go into flower. If this turns out dank I wouldn't mind trying something else of his like the Bay 11...keep hearing good things about that one.

Ive personally never seen such mis information spread by a breeder about his own genes.... I've seen 3 different lineages posted by them, even my pack of bay11 reads its gcxog... with no mention the gc was actually h&ls appy..... an this isn't the only strain ive seen by them with multiple lineages.... the plants grow out to be dank which is why it annoys me with the misinformation.....
Did bodhi find his appy in some of h&ls seeds from the f1 or is it one of the cuts of appy thats been hitting circles since 08??

Everyone knows Ken Estes "founder" of GrandaddyPurple etc.. Well His strain (Bay 11) which won first place at last years Cannabis cup 2011 was actually infact Bodhis Appalachia cut!!!!! Couldnt believe it at first but then again I could!

Heres what Ken or the GDP rep had to say...

"So, I thought I'd jump on here and give a little update as to the genetics behind BAY11...
The BAY is actually an APPALACHIA select clone from BODHI/high and lonesome, and it was gifted to a friend of ours then we worked it with our OG male. So BAY11 = Appalachia (Green Crack x Tres Dawg) x Og"

This is what Bodhi said after....

"from my understanding its either:

appalachia x og?

or

green crack x og?

with the winning bay 11 cut being the appalachia cut renamed"
