I would've liked to post a diary and update on progress but by the time I made my way here I'd finished the grow. So, I guess I'll do that with future things. Anyways, here are some pictures, you can see more of them if you look at my albums though.

Lookin' good. Another current Bubba/Og round, different location. Dr. Earth (4-4-4) base nutrients instead of Bio-Tone (4-3-3).

Base mix is 60/20/20 ProMix HP/EWC/Chunky Perlite with a modest amount of Azomite, Rock Phosphate and Dolomite Lime.

...Base mix is 60/20/20 ProMix HP/EWC/Chunky Perlite with a modest amount of Azomite, Rock Phosphate and Dolomite Lime...

I'm using basically the same base mix as that but with biotone rather than the dr. earth on these plants.

These are the maple leaf indicas and bluebonics from seeds here, started with 27 mli and 5 bb. Down to 16 and 3 now after males were ...obliterated.

I'm about a month into flowering on those right now, I'll try to get some more up to date pictures here of those soon.

this is my other room right now I've got 13 seedlings, had 14 but my dog decided to remove one of them, must have smelt it was a male I like to think. Yeah, so 13 Ghost Train Haze seedlings, and some other things.

so the Bubba OG I didn't need anymore so it's actually outside right now just to see how it'd do for fun, and it's doing great considering how cold and rainy it's been lately.

in this next picture you see lots of little cups, I have lots of seedlings of things I'm going to be putting outside in my garden in the next month. right now I'm germinating so many things, but the ones that have started up and in those cups are tomatoes, broccoli, beans, cabbage, and some lettuce.

just transplanted the ghost train's and top dressed with some ewc and dr. earth yesterday.

well that's everything for now, I will get some updated pics on the MLI and BB later tonight if I can get my camera working.

Phytoseiulus persimilis

spider mites... ...ordered some predators. Since I released them upon their prey I've noticed that it doesn't seem like the prey have really increased in number, but it doesn't really seem like they've decreased either, maybe a tad bit.

They gather up this pole, I just squish them when they do. I'm wondering if maybe the two mite teams are battling up here though and if I shouldn't do this.



Does anyone have experience with this strain of predator mite? Could they take a couple days or so to get established and then start mounting their attack?

Here are some other pictures of what's going on in that room.

Three of them were hit way more than the others, they're the only ones I've seen any weblings on.

THIS IS A cool thread you have going here man. I'm diggin the pics. As to the predator mites, I'm super interested in how they work. What kind did you get?

The strain name is Phytoseiulus persimilis, I don't think they're working that great. It could be a lot worse in there though, as like I said before, and this is still the case, only three of the plants show any sign of the undesirable mites. These three plants are the only ones to have had any webs on them or other physical signs of the bad ones.

late night update

late night update

I had a busy and fun day today and have updates on lots of things to show to you. To start here's a glance into the Maple Leaf Indicas who are at 5 and 1/2 weeks. I'm surprised the differences these plants are showing, I am just coming off of my first grow which was with clones from the same plant. The differences in water requirements is most suprising to me, it has been fun figuring out how to keep track of where they are all at in relation to each other. Some are nearly two waterings ahead of the slower ones!

after I woke up and helped them out a bit I went over to the room with the vegging stuff. Those beans grow super quick, I need my corn to catch up because I want the beans to grow up their stalks. I'm thinking I'll have to do another wave of beans to make that happen.

You can see a closer shot of those Ghost Train Haze seedlings here soon, they're doing okay since being transplanted, going to water tomorrow or the next and that'll give them a good surge I bet.

Here are some of the vegetables sprouting up, I think there are some tomatoes, broccoli, lettuce, beans and maybe some cabbage visible in this picture. There's some onions, carrots, basil, thyme, white corn and other stuff in the smaller clear cups off camera and other stuff germinating in the shadows of another room.

They'll be going into this area in my front yard, took me about a week to double dig that big clay area and add lots of nice stuff to make the soil good. I must've seen over two hundred big fat worms while mixing that up. I saw some huge slugs too, kind of yellowish and they had a mouth or some hole, sick.

Here's a sneak peak at what's in the making for out back this summer. I put in all those twenty-so green t-posts today, cut open the calluses I'd developed from digging that front yard bed, my wounds will heal though.

Some more pictures are below attached of things I mentioned.

I baked a dozen oatmeal chocolate chip honey cookies with a stick of butter with about an 8th of hash and an 8th of around 10 strains of buds yesterday, I've just been eating them since as my diet so my day is ending now.
