Coco drip irrigtion advice

Im shortly going to use drippers too Herbalizor.Not with Coir though rather RockWool Slab so then i can run it down the

side and use the NFT tank.I would like a near constant flow from the drippers.Can they be adjusted to allow this? Obviously sure they can might just pump water through like NFT trial & error 'spose

The plant is a "Stem Rot Victim" from not long ago,as you can see though.Not much room available.. A few inches more to the left only..


Designed for 3 Plants by the looks of things.Im gonna do/try four Chem D i think.Wouldn't do that with bushy ones e.g Blue Meanie etc.Maybe ​

been looking at rockwool myself pm me if ya wanna see a great rockwool slab grow done with nelly cut its brimming with info and he gets over a gramm per watt

Them slabs are expensive pal.Best deal on Ebay was 3x Grodan [Vital] R/W
Slabs [1m] for £9.95 + £4.60 p&p.Only other i found in 1 mtr size was a lone B Cuzz @ £3.50 & £5.95 p&p. P. e

Ive seen them way cheaper than that £2.82 per slab for the better cultilene brand which is spund in 2 directions instead of one which aids in better drainage and even distribution of nutes they also hold there shape better

I don't personally use blumats with coco but the Blumat thread has many people raving about their use with coco...

iv used them with coco for 7 years.....like any other system you have to expect a bit of practise

Ok Drippers are Rolling,i was still a bit worried that something like this might happen and yes Did Happen.ARG.. worrying stuff.

So as you can see there are two "Run Off" Outlets on the Aqua-Tray
that you would probably attach Pipe too well best for my set up anyway.




And so i did.Thing is though i was Mistaken when i Thought That
Both the Pipes were lying in the Nute Tank! One was Not!
Rather inbetween the Tank and the Stanchion..

I was Downstairs in the Kitchen when i felt a Drip on my Hand then
yea there was Water seeping down the Kitchen Light [light hasnt been on since,thought of letting this dry out.Hazy' Right thing to do, Yea/No Diff.. ?
Back in the Growroom of Course Turned the Pump off in a Flash and Witnessed the efx of the Mis-Hap.Water was Squelching under the Soles of my Feet Nearly and every step ALL OVER was with Water Dispersing from the Sides of the Souls.
This Happened Saturday Morning and Thankfully is Drying Out..
Few more Days before i dare try the light 'think.



The Black Pipe thats kinda obstructing the view Shouldn't be what looks like Down the side i Always make sure it Runs down the Middle Like it should be..So Dunno but Typical for the Shot i say.
Also "Silicone Sealed" the Outlet Joins.[as pic] Paranoid the ABOVE would Happen. Ahem.

With the Drippers came some Guides too.As i Expected with "eyelets" for the Lines and also a Built in Clip for the Lines i later Discovered.Before then i was holding them with Clothes Pegs,tricky and a relief to find the latter.
How does THIS type work: P Ssssssssssss.

Also Think there abit Stingy on the amount of Drip line there give you.. P

These Fell Flat when moving them which made doing that EVEN more Difficult.Supported by a Wire for the shot.
As before,2 Chem D and 1 CSG's ChemJones on the right.

Yes IMO Drippers on Slabs/Coir are a Good "Holiday" Insurance.But For What im After This Looks the way Forward.DWC.
Imagine the Plants Grow like Crazy with The Continuous Oxy' Pumped around their Roots. Hence Oxy Pot AKA Bubble Pot.
Im sure a look to the Future is Many of these connected Including Butt tank too.. And maybe also a pump for Circulation.

Someone PM'd me asking about the Air Pump,think.
Yea well that there is a Single Output Budjet Air Pump that Uses 2W.The biggest Budjet Pump has 10 outlets then theres the "Proffesional" Series,has 12 outlets, but there Double the price.

Alright e4ian it was me that pm you i am looking for a good air stone to run my aquafarm and 2 x 6ins airstones maybe 3 but it needs to be not to loud as its going in a bedroom...i could put the pump in an MDF box..to make less noise cheers Dank
