Lung Busters: Most Expansive and Cough Inducing Strains

For me, I usually don't cough very often but it seems every single time I smoke Rez's SD IBL I wind up coughing my ass off and I wind up baby hitting it to keep from choking. Seems like as soon as it gets in my lungs it just freaking explodes. It's decent smoke but particularly hard on my lungs for some reason. I'd enjoy it much more if it were easier to smoke. Chem D is much the same way for me..

I know flush, drying and curing have an effect on the smoothness of the smoke but I find certain strains are more expansive than others even when properly grown, dried, and cured.

Do you guys find certain strains to be more expansive in the lungs than others? Any strains you can't hold in and make you cough up a lung?

I guess im an oddball, but for a lot of years ive believed that hack weed was the result of piss poor breeding skills and even worse curing methods.

Its my view that well bred cannabis cured properly will be a smooth as air with just the finest of qualities sneaking through for the palet. Kindo of the difference between connisuer quality and ditch weed schwag.

On one hand you are correct.. Unflushed herb grown with chem nutes can be quite harsh.. Also herb that hasn't been cured properly, i.e. allowed to mold, will have you sick with soar throat..

But..

Their are certain varieties that have expansive smoke.. Doesn't mean they aren't smooth on the inhale.. The smoke just seems to double in size once in your lungs... Sometimes I enjoy this, sometimes it can be quite painful..

Anything with kush in it. kush plants irritate my throat and lungs.
