I finally got some buds worth smoking

Some of you in chat may have read me saying that I am getting burned out with the weed I get locally. It is true. I just felt like I was smoking out of habit and not getting any enjoyment.

Well... My girl friend's uncle is a small commercial grower and he has something called Lambsbread. Now I am not going to pretend to know if this is real or not, as I haven't a freaking clue. But I am Colombian and I smoked plenty of old school Colombo as a boy growing up about 50 km west of Medellin. This is good stuff and looks like that, only better. The scandalous bastard taxed me hard on this stuff... 240 for an ounce. He told me it takes too long to grow and he doesn't get that much... so that was the final price after the discount. After smoking a couple grams in the last 23 hours I am going back for a clone and at least two more ounces.

Sitting here now with a Heineken and a pipe full of herb. This is the shit

i worked with jamiacans in an apple orchard once . if its real you actually got a deal. they used to get me stoned on that shit and watch me on my A frame ladder fall out of trees with my belly sack full of apples. it really seemed to amuse them

Yup, no tight rock hard nugs from Lambsbread (or Lambsbreath I've seen it spelled). Almost pure sativa, long fluffy airy buds. A good oz of that shit is worth more than $240, so deal-o-rama.

there's always 2 sides to a coin

seeds are a pain in the ass to get out for a spliff, especially those tiny seeds
(I am not sure if it's common with landrace sativas, but that's what I experienced)

if that herb is not around, it's not because there are no seeds imo

I don't miss seeded weed. Sure, the first 30 or 40 times you glean the seed from the weed it can be fun, album covers and the whole social aspect, but the popping embers ruined many a cool denim shirt. And, an oz was 2/3s of an oz once the seeds and stems were removed (if you were lucky).

Oh yeah, 240 an ounce is a good deal I suppose. I have seen ounces of good weed go for 120 around here, so maybe I am spoiled. But he is family and would not budge on his price. I had to drive to a seedy neighborhood ATM to get more money to buy the buds.

It is sativa, but indoor grown. It didn't look like most of the herb you buy now days. It is airy, spongy and you can hardly get an ounce in a baggy. My last batch of weed before this looked like 3/4 of a bag weighed an ounce.

It's good. We are going out today to get some more before it all runs out. I should call in advance so we can get a clone too. I want to add this shit to my grow. I will get a picture of it for you guys to look at. I am sure it is not the same thing that Bob Marley was smoking, but still damn good. I smoked some yesterday and then went out and detailed my truck. If I smoke enough of this shit I will get all my to-do list complete.

But I rarely pay for weed around here. I live in an economically depressed area that has a lot of growers. You cannot give weed away during the outdoor harvest season, and I am serious. I do not know how you folks in California make ends meet after the outdoor hits the street.
