a friend of mine was going on and on about d.h breeding.
to much lab work for me, but the applications if used right could be amazing.

Shiiat, ever spoken with a labcoat? Trust me they are currently spinning their wheels mostly talking about wide leafed cultivars etc, wtf is that? No self respecting farmer would ever call a broadleaf a wideleaf, lol

For those interested I found these as well.

This one says you can set up the lab right in your house! heh

This one is like Allard and the other reading comprehension checkmate every other paragraph. Typical college book.

Chimera is right, you guys that are behind now stand very little chance, blame yourselves, what you are doing here is just pathetic. We do not care about your feeling if you do not care enough about what you are talking about to dare to pick up a book. Prepare yourselves for the endgame...

Most of the top stuff we have today comes from male/female breeding and seems pretty good to me. Thats how mother nature operates.
You can breed better with fems? Fine, but leave to the customers a choice providing both type of seeds.

What is the organic way to produce feminized seeds?? In organic cultivation i assume the use of STS is not allowed.Sure you can trigger a plant with a light leak, but greater chance is you'll pass this sensitivity to the next generation.

I was watching this vid yesterday

still going about the feelings eh? :)

and getting angry at having your intelligence questioned. (which i didnt, i questioned your knowledge, it passed, you might want to look into your ego though ;))

and well, you are getting me wrong.

im not competition for breeding, i just like to dabble for myself and im not about to get into business breeding :)

no, im a potential customer to breeders and as such, of course im interested in having this explained to me without bothering to read all those books in which i have little to no interest. (since im not in the business i just chuck pollen for the heck of it, surprise me bitch (nature))

and feminized seeds, come off as a risky buyer venture.

Sts is silver so I'm sure it would be considered organic. And Mutagen breeding is considered to be an organic process.

THE PABLOS

i said i would be sad at the originals being lost, which they arent. ;)

whole lotta emotion over a few words :)

Dude...I have this feeling that you don't do much in your garden concerning the perpetuation of your lines in seed form. I also have the feeling you like to debate things that you really know not much about. Therefore....you are coming off as meaningless. No emotion on my part at all....objectivity I'll vouch for.

You have no intelligent argument...and you are not posting in this thread seeking to be enlightened. Therefore...you must be seeking something else concerning your ego. Pretty damn simple.

i do bit, have a bit of seed stash, my own, ive also made my own strain that im pretty satisfied with (smells like buttered popcorn lol) and one im working on. (pretty much the same strain, but smells different and i want to mix that line with something else)

but no, im not a professional breeder :)

i did get quite alot of info in return for stating my opinions on the matter :) so i wouldnt say this was meaningless, i do admit i did not have alot to offer informationvise myself.

its not a competition, i viewed this as a conversation that got perhaps a bit heated.

have a good day :)
