I got some white duct tape a few months backs............... makes everthing look cleaner.:dance013:

I think I like it better than foil tape because when I try take foil tape off my hoods, ducting ect, it comes off in little peices and is a bitch sometimes.

I saw the first episode with the sailboat built out of duct tape. I can't run a grow op without it. The stuff is magic!

Using duct tape on the overflow of my claw foot tub so I can take a "full body immersion" tub. Just wish it was slightly, "slightly" more heat resistant.

I love Nashua Brand Tape. It's duct tape at home depot. I've seen it in white, black & red. I highly recommend it. it's so easy to work with. Sticks and removes well. Put white over black to seal light leaks.

I've used this industrially where I needed to tape a smooth steel surface to join a paper honeycomb laser bed that then needed to be hosed down every 15-20 minutes. If the tape to paper seal was tight the laser would be able to cut the sheet metal more precisely, only one duct tape would last the duration of an 8-10 hour shift. I found this Scotch brand product & brought it into work myself because the facility I worked for bought shit duct tape.

I've bought it as seen above with either a white or orange inner core, it's recognizable by having a dark rich grey color and a superior glossy surface. It can be $8 per roll when not on sale but it's worth every friggin' penny of that if you're using this stuff in your garden.

This is the very best of duct tapes, I promise you that.

While searching google pics to find the above I noticed that the supposedly same product is packaged as shown below:

I can clearly see that the 2nd roll in pic (again orange) is the 'Heavy Duty All Weather' tape I'm talking about, no matter the packaging if you can get your hands on the heavy duty all weather you'll fall in love with duct tape all over again.......

one article had this to say about the new packaging and full product line:

The six new versions in the series include Extreme Cold, Transparent, No Residue, Heavy Duty All Weather, Outdoor Painters and a version for Poly Hanging & Tarps. As their names imply, 3M has applied some chemical tweaks to the original Duct Tape adhesive to improve on the common tasks the classic was used for. Each roll costs between $6 to $10, and all on our sale at local hardware stores.

well they had more to say than that but I figured it was all that was worth noting, I'm vouching for the one product of the line I've used only. I'd been using that heavy duty tape since '04 so I'm guessing the rest of that 'TOUGH' line is new, the all weather stuff is at least 8 yrs in production.

Love the Gorilla tape. I've actually used it to back a bow I made. Great stuff.
