Longest wait for seeds?

What's the longest you've waited for seeds (either had them or gave up waiting)

I'm waiting on an order from both Seedboutique and SeriousSeeds, both mailed my order on the 24th and the 25th of February. Seedboutique says my order was returned to them in the mail (wtf) and seriousseeds never got here.

my mailing address is correct, I've received alot of mail here and packages.

What else can I do, have them mailed to another address?


I have my box hungry to grow, and the disappointment at the mailbox is getting old

With the Seedboutique one it sounds like it was delivered to the wrong address and the people there wrote on it "not at this address, return to sender", and it was returned to the Boo. Or maybe someone at your house saw a letter in the letterbox addressed to an unknown person(your alias) and sent it back.
If you email the Boo they will resend it I would imagine.
With the Serious Seeds one I assume they are in Holland; they might not send seeds to your country; last time I looked the Dutch breeders had on their sites they don't send seeds to places where it's illegal.

3 months,,, never order over winter! although having said that no one has any money anymore thanks to the bankers so i doubt the mail flow will be as high as that christmas was again,,

about 30 days 2x, once from the Bou once from the bay. One in the middle of last summer and one around xmas time. The xmas order also came with the bonus of 2 packs of crushed freebies.

Stupid thing is I had an order I made with cc at another place the day after xmas and it showed up in 5 days, my bay order that was shipped around the same time took 30 days not including the 20 days for payment to get there so 50 days total. I think some of the long wait can be attributed to the bou/bay sending letter mail and other banks send express priority with a tshirt, so it doesnt get lumped in with 9 million xmas cards taking a row boat across the atlantic.

Next year I wont order anything from october til after xmas, there was a lot of complaints of really slow delivery during that time.

Last time I ordered from seed bou nothing showed up. Not a thing. Not a torn open letter. Not a customs notice. Nothing.

So going on about 7 years now.

I've made 4 or 5 orders and never waited more than 3 weeks. Paid with a prepaid crediit card everytime. If you do this make sure the prepaid cc can be used internationally. Made that mistake once.

just ordered some seeds from the Netherlands and i got them all within a week.

I'm still waiting for several of my cash payments from Dec, Jan & Feb to arrive at the Bay, but it's not looking good. LOL!
I'd sent over $2000 in separate orders near the end of 2011 & most arrived quickly but $400 worth of my payments in Dec, Jan & Feb haven't been received by the Bay yet.
It's my understanding Clarence discussed with his post office contact the mysterious non-arrival of many customers' payments to the Bay over Xmas & was told that Royal Mail hired seasonal agents for the busy times & these agents may have pinched the cash payments.

Yes, don't send payments during the Holidays. Lost cash payment last Christmas. Usually it is a 1 week wait once they get the money. My last order took almost 2 weeks to get there even though I shipped using Priority mail. So far I'm not impressed with Priority mail.

"May have pinched some cash payments?" Hell yes they did.

I have never had any correspondence lost when sent to a first world nation.

Can't you overnight payments if you live in the UK?

I just get angry when I read this, because i know that losing money really hurts.

Priority kinda sucks, it's supposed to take up to 7 days but usually takes 10+, and the price went up $2.50. Now it's almost $17 and still takes longer then it should.
I read the other day USPS will be stopping next day delivery entirely so Im sure regular mail service will suffer as well.

I hope the Bou gets cc's working again, mailing payments really adds up. A few mailed payments costs as much as a good pack of seeds.

Listing 10-20 packs a day and thinking you're so behind? Finding missplaced seeds years later? Fuck guys, it ain't the Royal Mail here.

The longest I've waited is 12 days. Sometimes it only takes a week.

Longest was just under a month.But seedbay is usually 1 week turnaround time from payment to letter recieved...Only one pack never made it,in my history of ordering seeds .From a certain seedbank known for Disapearing Payments" ....Jagg-off...Just be patient and wait at least a month,if you have too.....

always got my orders from the boo, but I sent the seed fundraiser three times and they never got anything, actually, the last sent packed arrived without the seeds in it, as oldpink informed me, a couple of years ago... sent over 1000 seeds in those three failed attempts, stroke out I guess
