One life Budman, I feel like im gettin too old for this shit, but without it a few times a year i would loose my mind, take up golf , grow a mustache , drive a 1991 corvette and so on...I need it!
The last few times I have been to alpine I did not buy tickets until my way to the show, I line them up on craigslist in advance, I have paid $20.00 a ticket for lawn the last few runs.
MissGreen I will agree with alpine security the lots are just a big bust. But once you get through the gates to the show all worries fade. Its just too nice of a venue and too many memories for the "lot fuzz" to ruin it for me. All the camping areas that are close sell out fast, that sucks too.

i might smoke a little weed at the shows and possibly some paper

i dont typically ever drink...just bowl rips and joints. i dont worry about lots too much. usually alpine comes directly after deer creek shows. i usually party so hard in the cornfield i keep it real at alpine...tail end of the run so i slow down and drink water

Sorry to break it to you bud, but mr d has his finger on the pulse of Denver. He informed me of dicks last year 5 months before it was announced... I'd trust his sources...

Hello guys. Well its been a long 2 years(had to chill for a while for reasons I wont discuss but will say it had nothing to do with nugs). I cant wait to get back up to New England and get "back in black". I surely miss this hobby most look down at us if they ever knew. Well, to coin Georgyboy "this is going to be the summer of The Vermonster".

@Budman--> for me drinking at shows was a waste of beer/money/time with extra bathroom trips being a PITA. Also I love to dose so I myself could put A microbrewery out of biz for the shear fact that when tripping nuts, I could drink 30 beers and not feel a god damn thing. Anyway thanks for the cornfield reminders as back in the Dead days I had some serious wake up call wandering around the fields on several occasions. The searches and cops were a mother but the venue and energy is a recipe for a smoker almost every time and I can attest to it seeing at least 15 Phish shows at DC.

Hello Mr Dank. Good to see you're still holding down the fort and I too heard something from Treys bro in law about RR and this guy batting near .1000 since the inception of 3.0.

To all my New England brethren: see you soon fellas as I'll hopefully be a resident of VT once again by mid Autumn.

Unfortunately, this was the first time mrdank was wrong on the rumor, dicks will be fun for labor day again though. Denver is so beautiful that time of year, who cares? At least I don't have to walk those steps for 4 shows in a row!

Went out of town for work. Listen to nutter 97 to start the trip. Holy hell that is a killer show. I'd love to go back and relive some 97 cowfunk shows. Didn't realize how good I had it back then. I m about to break the century mark. In the low 90s right now

I love Levon's Tennessee Jed. He does it so well. Brings his own twist.

Levon helm band was really good. I never got to see a ramble in Woodstock though. Saw him many times at festive but never made it to the barn
